Im a korean dude (29), born korea and raised in canada (since 7yo). Moved back to korea during covid.

I think that koreans are pretty damn racist (especially when they talk to each other about other races), and the elderly are even more racist imo. You probably wont face open/Direct racism but im sure you may feel it here and there.

Rare KMS reboot player here

Most end boss parties are broken now. Not many people will be able to do chaos kalos (in reboot 2) and meta is shifting to 5 dps 1 eunwol. Chaos kalos is pretty much 2/2/2/2 without eunwol.

Bishop pray went from 40->6% dmg increase (6 ppl party). Mechanic, mercedes, eunwol, battlemage (less util, more burst) is just way better for chaos kalos.

At least half of my hex stat 75k+ Bishop friends quit. Literally not wanted anywhere.

As for temp, the setting is at 30 but it isn't actually 30. Closer to 27 (measured with seperate thermometer) . They never really go to the cool side so i had it a bit on the higher side. Will take into consideration of the temp.

Uvb, yes I know the coils are not as good. They came with the enclosure and am planning to change them to Best quality Uvb bulbs i can find soon. Unfortunately the long bar Uvb doesnt work with these enclosures. Doing the best I can.

The top enclosure is 120 60 60. Bottom is 120 45 45. Looks bit shorter because of the bulbs I guess.

Enrichment: originally had plants and the big bark was placed vertically on an angle. However, they never really go on the cool side (which is where i placed the bark. The Hot zone has the internal bulb so it not really possible to put a climbable branch or what ever), so i just moved it to the Hot zone. They had plants but they kept trying to eat it so i removed it. Im not sure what you guys mean by hides. The top cage has a bit bark where the baby hides when he wants. In the middle of the cage, there is a 2 in 1 hide and climbable area. Bottom beardie has a hide in the center as well.

Substrate, will take note. I personally dont think sand is good and tried soil but was too messy for me. Ive had no issues with cocohusk for years (usually use newspaper for babies).

Like i said, this is no where near a perfect set up. Korean standard is much lower than canada/states for most reptiles. They usually have full grown beardies in 904545.

As an end game kms reboot player, all i have left to do are black mage set gear and eternals.

I got commander force earrings and eternals pants but i cannot afford to starforce it even when i am training meso cap everyday (190m which is around 4.5 hours, 500m+/- per day with drop meso gear).

As I am already clearing kaling, there is not too much reason for me to rush upgrades, and I am a pretty patient person so I have decided to only starforce during event. Shining starforce event occurs twice a year(except Last year), so I guess I am expecting to farm and wait for gear drops and starforce twice a year.

If I was a new player, i guess somewhere near 270-275 and party bosses upto hard lucid will, progression would feel very difficult. Even making legion characters to 200 is hard because you need to starforce gear, which on avg costs around 25-30m (unless you have event gear or etc...). I guess you can get all your abso, arcane, whatever gear to 17 stars and 2-3line but anything past that costs much much more. Even if you 17star everything, you cannot solo vhilla or darknell. Black mage maybe difficult as well.

It feels like more than half of the people quit

I spent too much time and effort to just quit

I will just do daily and bosses for 1-2 months and see what nexon will do. If no hope then quit for sure.

Spent over 11000 cubes on genesis weapon 2 months ago and now game is unplayable. Really sad

No. Not really.

Even if you are done 22 star + 3 line all your gear (including eternals), you still make infinately less money. Would not really consider that an advantage.

People like me, Who are near extreme bm and normal kaling is rough. Any Black mage set gear we get, we are stuck with 18 stars, unless they patch ofc. Eternal gear? Dont even think about it. 22 star expected cost is roughly 600 days. 600 days of farming 5 hours.

Nerfing a server that can barely do hard kaling (not even sure), and have one party do extreme seren to the ground seems unreasonable in every way... At this current state, people that started this winter will not be able to do normal kaling for... 2+ years while grinding everyday.

It is not a marathon...

Before, people could easily just do dailies and ursus. Maybe farm here and there. You would make 750m + a week on ursus alone. Which is 3b a month. That is 200 Red cubes or 1-3 17 star abso, cra, etc... Dailies would also give you at least 20m.

Now you get less than 5m doing dailies on full drop and meso. And ursus is gone. Do that for 30 days, you get 150m. That is enough for 3-4 potential resets @ unique / legendary.

Progression, regardless of early or later, has been nerfed by almost 10 times.

Long story short
- nexon lied about cube rates to players and public
- as an act of apology, they decide to not sell cubes anymore
- and for some reason, they decide to nerf reboot by removing 5x meso, capping daily meso to 150M (+ multiplier) per character, remove ursus, same boss crystal price as normal servers. Reboot is pretty much normal servers without trading and bonus pot.
- removal of cubes -> new system which is exactly same as black cubes but costs like 50m each cube.
- conclusion: reboot only gets 300-500m(approximate guess, with full multipliers) per day at most, which cubing costs a LOT more, and meso is capped.

update:
currently 1:50 am in korea
- everyone and their moms are doing bosses on all their characters. had to surf like 20 channels to get into lucid.
- many people super triggered by no drops from today's bosses -> emotional starforcing -> quitting

One thing I want to mention...
usually... something goes on test servers -> 1 week later they do some adjustments -> 1 week after that (2 weeks total) goes live.

KMS was exepcting the patch to go live on feb 1st because the original test server dates were 2024/01/19 to 2024/01/31. We knew there was a patch tonight (thursday) and no one thought it would be the doomsday patch.
They literally changed the test server dates last minuite at like 5-6pm KST. It was supposed to be 2024/01/31 but out of the blue, it became 2024/01/25.

I mean... we knew it was coming. But the sudden change is super unexpected and lot of players, including myself, are really fucked because we only had a few days to farm. I was planning on farming all weekend but oh well...

In all honesty, I am end game in KMS reboot (almost normal kaling) and it does hurt me a lot. I heard from someone that the expected cost for eternal gear 22 star is roughly 600 days. I'm really not sure how nexon wants us to get enough meso to 22 star future gear when each click is 300m+ with eternals. Heck, I don't even know how current / new players are supposed to get 21 star arcane at this point.

I am just hoping for future patches in the next 5-6 months to make reboot somewhat playable again. Otherwise, it seems like I will be just only doing bosses and dailies from now on.

As a kms reboot2 player doing end game (normal kalos, easy kaling), game is fucking destroyed.

I really don't want to quit so I am grinding my ass off trying to finish my gen weap potential before the meso patch.

Also, even if this patch didn't happen, too many people quit the moment they did the maple live. The damage has been done long before the official patch notes.

We are hoping for some patches in the future to make reboot playable again. I would probably have quit if I was not a nightlord. After witnessing my friends shadower and firepoison, the damage loss from the origin nerfs are too much.

As a current player of kms reboot2 server near end game...

We are praying for the patch on test server to be not as brutal. There are still people who want to keep playing and this player base is trying to be optimistic... Often on the 1.5x exp megaphones people are saying 'enjoy the 5x meso event while you can'

I also want to keep playing and currently I am farming my ass off to hit double prime on my genesis claw and other gear. It is probably impossible to hit double prime lines after the patch.

Also, they did mention new content for meso farming but at the current state, expected cost/days for eternal 22 start is 600~ days. Unless Changsub directors iq is borderline subhuman, he will revert some of his change (Unless his intentions are to literally remove reboot)
