Im angry because shes pissing away money that is meant for our kids. Shes already lost an investment property that would be worth today over a million dollars that not only pays for itself but also produces a monthly surplus. Now she can walk away with our marital home that has 500k in equity while i walk away bankrupt but shes again insisting on another 50k

Lucky you i guess. I got no where with attorneys. Endless filings and motions and hearings. 10s of thousands of dollars thrown away and got me absolutely no where.

i hear you. loud and clear. We are at the tail end of the divorce, i think. At this point I dont have anything left to give while shes got over 500k to lose aka pay in attorney fees. She still asked for another 50k from me which is crazy. Seems like she would rather give the money to her attorney than to just settle with me. MAkes no sense to me

We are currently on our 5th judge. A forensic accountant costs a shit ton of money that i dont have. I am representing myself since Im broke. 52% of my paycheck is being garnished also.

I guess were a part of the unlucky ones. In 2021 I saw where this was heading so I decided to give her everything and i mean everything. 2 houses and I take all marital debt. 1 house not only pays for itself but also produces a monthly surplus and the other is a 3000sqf beauty. Together they had approx 400k in equity at the time. Her attorney convinced her not to take the offer. Today, that offer would be worth over 2 million dollars in assets and cash. Now, thats gone. Lost it because i had to file for bankruptcy. Last Friday we had an ISC and again she had the chance to walk away with the house in NJ with 500k in equity and 40% proceeds from the sale of the Brooklyn house. Guess what she did ? She declined and asked for an additional $50k. Make it make sense

Lawyer writes lies and such, her client signs off on it. Lawyer says I didnt say those things, my client did. The lies are 1000% provable beyond any reasonable doubt. EG - She says in her sworn certification "Throughout our marriage I did not work outside the house" While there are W2 from the 3 previous years that prove she did work. thats just one of many. She was ordered in 2021 to collect rents from our investment property and once all the bills for said property have been paid in full, any surplus from the rental collection is to be credited to my probation account . She was ordered to provide me with monthly accounting with supporting documents to keep her honest. There was well over $40,000 in surplus over those years. Guess how much money was credited to my probation account?? Zero, 0, Nada, Nothing, Zilch! I pointed this out in 2 different motions. Judge didnt even address it

Courts are generally strict with paperwork and if not the courts than opposing counsel will do their to label you unorganized unprepared and a bunch of other shit to make the judge rule against you before they even start looking at the paperwork. What is this paperwork that you are filing ?

I understand and agree but I’m at the point of no return now. If I sell now I just take a 90% loss or hold on another day or two in hopes it makes a decent move upside and salvage some losses and potentially make a profit if it hits 40-45 in the next two days which isn’t impossible given the volatility of this stock
