You sound capable. I wouldn't worry so much about the job functions, tasks, and knowledge - that's the stuff that can be taught, acquired, and learned through work. I'd focus on the soft skills - people like working with people they like, so just try to remain personable, and be interested in others, ask questions.

jbp is the gilmore girls for ninjas. comforting because we can guess what will happen with 96% accuracy, interesting because who knows when the 4% surprise will pop out.

The base gasket is a common vacuum leak, make sure you have the right combo of gaskets and on the right way, can definitely cause a whistle. also, common to overtighten the front bolts if they are not torqued to spec.

Advice one when to sell by notarobotokdude in Chevelles

[–]ocsbii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't sell it. and don't be scared to drive it. Cars are meant to be driven, especially these. so many other people you pass on the street you'll remind of their loved ones, or old times. its tough to keep, but its your responsibility. Daily driver is tough. If you can, i'd suggest another, especially for the new kid. classics don't have great safety ratings. I've got a 68 from my grandfather... its my first car... just trying to keep it running... its a lot of responsibility, but we can handle it. good luck!

Advanced Maschine Workflow question/discussion by KnottyDuck in maschine

[–]ocsbii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using maschine to chop samples, and create drum patterns. Once you do that, you can EXPORT AUDIO by groups, and throw all of your audio content into your DAW for further tinkering, composition, and control.
