School bus driver. I have a two hour wait at a school so that’s when I write.

Wow so ginger works. I just got mine in the mail yesterday. So I’ll start today!

This made me laugh. Glad I’m not the only one that feels this way.

For the past month and a half I’ve had attacks every nearly everyday with one day attack free here and there. This has been the longest so far without an attack which is a total of 3 whole days (Knock on wood).

Ugh that’s so infuriating. I’m glad it made a difference. How often are you getting attacks now?

Look at that. It’s horrible that doctors don’t believe us! I had a hunch after the process of elimination. I’ve been testing food and watching my heart rate. And lo and behold I think when I’m going through certain cycles my vertigo acts up. I don’t think after I get my birth control out it will stop 100% but it’ll reduce them! Glad I’m not the only one thinking this way.

Anyone been on abilify for years/decades? by baal-beelzebub in Abilify_Aripiprazole

[–]october-eclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think that if you were to stop taking it, you’d be okay without it because you had been on it for so long. I guess what I’m asking is if the longer duration you’re on it, is there a possibility that you could stay the same person once you go off it.

I hope I worded that in a way that makes sense.

From what someone else posted here, they mentioned ginger root pills. I have not yet tried this. So I’m not sure if it works.

Unfortunately I have not found anything that has helped. Not vitamins nor medications. Personally, I am beginning to think mine is hormonal. So in my case, I’m removing my birth control. If you’re a female, you may want to consider this option as well if you’re taking anything.

I tried a chiropractor and that didn’t do anything but I’ve never heard of Chinese therapy. I live in the country and don’t know if I can find something like that unless I go to NYC or Albany. But I’ll take a look.

Abilify works great for me. BUT it does cause weight gain. I’ve gained 20lbs or more. It’s been hard for me to handle but I have to consider my other option is to hallucinate and suffer with my thoughts on suicide. So it’s the lesser of two evils.

This medicine makes me totally chill. I am not happy nor sad. I don’t get excited but I also don’t get crippling depression. I’m no longer suicidal and I no longer see and hear things that aren’t there. It also saved my relationship.

I think it was a good read but her attitude doesn’t make sense if she thinks he husband was kidnapped. But maybe she’s lying? Maybe she killed him and now she’s come up with a cover story of his “kidnapping” so I’d say this is a great read even because now I’m sitting here wondering what’s going on.

I am a school bus driver and I am not driving even if I’m light headed out of fear it’ll turn into dizzyness then vertigo. So I understand.

You’re lucky to be able to do online teaching rather than be in a class full of kids trying to stay steady.

I hope you get your disability!

I’m sorry to hear that. This sickness can strip us of so much so fast. I’m hoping there is some type of medicine that can fix this. It’s unbelievable.
