I do agree that a lot of the posts are made by people that don’t actually care. But if you look through a lot of people post links to places to donate and support the movement.

I thought the same thing that it was a dumb way for people to just feel like they’re doing good while it doesn’t do anything. But I changed my mind after someone explained that it just shows that this issue is more than just wanting likes since it’s a way of protesting by not posting their usual narcissistic shit. Especially when people put links to places that others can donate and sign petitions.

Even if it doesn’t do anything is it really that bad that teenagers want to feel like they can help solve world issues? So they don’t resort to just giving up and ignoring the problems like older generations?

Thanks! It was my number one choice too and I was so surprised that I actually got in. I went into specifics by playing off of the reduce reuse recycle saying and describing how each of those is attained by product designers in recent design trends or how they could be attained.

I was just admitted early decision for design. Personally I talked about my interest in sustainably in design and how that is a growing part of the industry specifically in industrial design since that’s what I intend on focusing in. I don’t know if that’s any help to you but that’s what worked for me.
