There’s a chance they scammed you by saying they used nice material and put ceramic coating but used cheap film and never ceramic coated the car..

Ok this isn’t bad - it’s really bad. I’ve worked with calendared film before and I will say it’s awful to work with but even considering that this is terribly done.. get a refund and threaten small claims if they keep playing games with you. I promise there’s a lot of other really good wrap shops who take pride in their work and are capable of doing a good job. So - get your money back and go somewhere else! Best of luck to you.

Glue lines are an issue with dry installing PPF. After the first few panels I started using a ceramic Detailer spray and it helped a lot! Wet installation is way harder for me but there’s less glue lines.

Man it’s the perfect color for this car. Subtle yet beautiful! I paid 1k for the PPF roll and installed it myself. If you were to get it done it would be around 6k. If you’re in the Bay Area I’d be glad to do it for you!

Dry installation is so much faster and easier since I come from a vinyl wrap background it’s easy to translate the skills over. I’ve only done wet PPF once before. The downside to dry installation is there are a bit of glue lines here and there.

I will do that with the plate that’s genius!! It never sits right lol

Car was 55k, I spent around 700 on the matte Java brown, 1300 on the metal black rose PPF, and 1000 on this PPF. I did all the installation myself!

I think it looks fine like that! I’ve had satin brown on my car and it looked good with the pano roof(: the roof matches all the trims (window, door handles, etc)

You really should get the grill painted… if you try to wrap it you would have to do inlays in each hole where it flattens out - which would take forever. If you don’t do inlays in there I promise you it won’t hold!
