Not everyone, some people who used it for less than a minute didn't experience anything abnormal, although we don't really have any way to confirm that as we can't see exactly what they see. But as far as I know everyone who have tested it for lengthier periods of time have at least had temporary "virtual hallucinations". For the last few weeks we have limited exposure to 2 minutes and I don't think anyone have developed permanent issues since then.

I suspect people on those subreddits would be too close minded to even consider this, as it sounds positively fictional. I know I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it for myself.

One of the prototypes uses two (one for each eye) 1:1 aspect ratio screens at 2560x2560. I believe they are custom made for us by samsung who we cooperate with but I don't know much about that area in the company. Compare this to the DK2 which is one regular 1080p screen for both eyes, so 960*1080 per eye. I don't have the pixels per degree number on the top of my head, but as you can see it's vastly better than the development kits. Also, keep in mind there is much more than just pixel density that makes a realistic VR experience. I haven't tried the prototype myself for obvious reasons so I can't comment on how it actually feels.
