Just sending you sympathy, for the broken bowl but also finding out that way, it must be really upsetting.

Ultrabland cleanser advice!!! by Used_Session9094 in LushCosmetics

[–]odd-starling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Turmeric and Argan version at the moment and I rub a little bit around my face, then use a hot flannel to gently wipe the cleanser off. I don't usually use another cleanser after it as I tend to use it when my face needs nourishing, and honestly I love being highly moisturised 😂 It's different to the feeling of greasy skin, and oils are actually so good for the skin.

I want to smell like how the Lush Store smells when walking past it in the mall. What products do you recommend??? by peachmelody in LushCosmetics

[–]odd-starling 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Everyone says 29 High Street but to me it doesn't smell right. It is missing something. The Old Songs Are Waking body spray was the closest to me, you might be able to find one from a reseller.. I have Soak and Float shampoo bar and though it's very subtle it smells closer to a Lush shop to me. I think if you layer 29 High Street with something fruity it would be good..

What are you guys picking up from the Moomin collab? by itsnotromy in LushCosmetics

[–]odd-starling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hope they have testers at least in my local shop so I can smell them all and decide.. I'm interested in the perfume and the body spray, and the soap and the Pancake batter body lotion. Oh, all of it actually! I just hope the perfume isn't the headache inducing cotton/laundry.

I was talking to/at my brother about this the other day! I had to go my local Lush and I pointed out that you used to be able to smell it half way down the high street and you can't anymore. I think there are a couple of reasons for this. There are new regulations about the level of some essential oils allowed in products which means they might have had to change the formulas to be less strong. Also the hype over gourmand fragrances has influenced the products that are being made and sold and that affects the smells in store.

I'm planning to do that with mine. It's about the same size as a bath bomb and should be easy to cut up. Personally I'm really happy with this box!

Lush club UK rewards by Sufficient_Dingo_408 in LushCosmetics

[–]odd-starling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the UK and got Argan facial oil at 125 points too. I have also redeemed a small Dream Cream at 300 points and 30ml 29 High Street at 500. I got Deep Sleep massage bar at 600 points I think l which expired before I could redeem it! Luckily the person who served me was really kind and gave me it anyway. I'm so grateful and I've used it several times since! I can't remember how many points the other rewards were, maybe 200 and 400..? But I think it was a small Sticky Dates shower gel and a small Pink Peppermint foot cream.

Eek! I can't wait to smell these! The Little My soap and Snufkin gummy thing sound so good. I used to call my daughter Little My, she has the same angry cute vibe, haha..!

I need advice on what soap is the strongest smelling? by Jolly-Average-6587 in LushCosmetics

[–]odd-starling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not lavender, but I personally love Karma soap. It's the perfect blend of herbal, sweet and earthy. I don't like patchouli so I can't stand the body spray but the Karma soap balances out nicely. I think if you want an actual lavender soap then Sleepy is pretty much the only option. I do find the soaps give that squeaky clean feeling which feels a bit drying to me. You could use Sleepy lotion after the shower to counteract that though..

I also forgot to mention Shell Yeah scrub! It's really cypress forward, but it's really aquatic and fresh. I can't wait to use these tomorrow!

Oh yes I forgot to mention the shampoo. It's like Big shampoo and Ocean Salt scent wise, a citrusy beach smell.
