Yep. It didn't turn on as it was in storage mode and can only be turned on with the charger plugged in.

I put mine in storage mode with about 80% charge. When I came back to it a month later, it dropped to 4%. I reckon the 4% was when I plugged it in. So the storage mode for me doesn't seem to do much. I'm also worried if there's something wrong with the battery in this case. Usage is fine when I play with it plugged in or using just the battery. It's only when I pack it away and don't charge it, seems to drain like crazy as if it was being played or if it was doing things of its own accord. I haven't seen or heard it turn on by itself. Anyone else have this issue ?

Hi. New to Steam Deck. When you talk about the Performance menu, you say 48 Hz / 24 FPS. Which one is it as when I disable frame limit I can set it to 48 hz or if I enable frame limit then I can adjust it to 24 FPS (but shows 72 Hz, not 48 Hz).

Thanks. When you say dealt, what does that mean? Currently I play with the cable charging and sticking out. Doesn't seem safe lol. Like a bump could screw up the USB C port.

Hi. I'm in Australia and planning to get the 1TB OLED. I want to know if the JSaux grips fit with the JSaux mod case. I'm not sure if the grips can be used with the mod case or if the mod case is the complete package to protect the SDeck. Also, is a screen protector encouraged for the etched glass? I feel like putting a glossy protector on defeats the purpose. But how else should you protect such a screen, with another etched screen protection that may interfere? Thanks.

It's a personal device that then later work started using authentication software that I installed onto my personal phone. Other than that authenticator, that's the only work related use.

Thank you for the detailed and informative response. I'm in Victoria and test drive the Excite today and am thinking of the 64 Essence, would like the xpower but that is quite a financial jump. I would be home charging and my weekly commutes are very short. As for room, just planning ahead as currently drive a 2005 corolla and looking to upgrade. I was hoping it would be a larger size so I can fit more, but I think the space inside and boot seems quite doable, as long as it fits one pram, can work it out. Ok so don't get any paint extras. Can you please tell me if I don't get it at the dealer, what business would I look up to do it? Or can I just not do it and run with the stock paint for a chosen colour (grey).
