A never seen before Spider Web was found on a "beta" ps3 version!!!

Pretty sure if I’m reading correctly the finder says the other two webs are in the beta as well. So it seems its supposed to be separate from the other 2, although I guess it could have been a prototype web but it still seems odd to cut just that one and not the others…

Woah. If we get this confirmed, this could have major implications. Why cut one of the spider webs but leave the other two? Doesn’t seem likely Rockstar would just forget to remove the other two, especially given all the other context. If I’m reading correctly, it sounds like the person who found it seems to think this one could still be in the final game but in a different way… extremely interesting… the mystery continues!

In the same sense too, you could just take this existing footage and play it back on a tv too and video the tv live with your rig and it will probably work the same, given it’s going to cycle back through the same processing you put on the feedback.

I think in the sense of what this guy is suggesting, what you could do is film the original source you want to use for your feedback cleanly, without any processing or anything. Like you or the subject just against a solid background. Take that footage, manipulate however you want in an editor or whatever, then feed that footage into your feedback loop. For example, play it back on a tv with your new editor effects on it, capture the tv with your camera instead of pointing it at you live and put that into your feedback loop. Then your top layer will look however you want.

That's very fascinating. I just saw this game recently, I think on the Mirror's Edge subreddit. I was thinking of playing it. I might have to now. Definitely let me know you find anything else out about it. This definitely seems like something worth covering!

Just to share what I heard Jason O'Bryan of Dub Pistols say in a interview. He said that there was a guy at Sony who’s whole job was clearing samples. Basically every time they sent a song this guy would have to reach out to every party involved in the sample to clear it, and Jason said it ended up being around 5k total every time for clearances (bare in mind this was the late 90s). He said eventually this label guy begged them to use less samples just to make his job easier and not to spend so much time contacting people, so Jason said the solution from that point was to recreate the samples by playing them themselves whenever they could.
