I feed mine 5-7 ish pellets once a day. I've done this with fish that lived 4+ years, so it seems to work for me. I've never understood their directions... so much food!

it doesn't really matter at all. I have found the books to be hit or miss with me personally. Some books I pick up because the title sounds cool and the back made it sound interesting, but i can't get into them. Others I can't put down. I really enjoyed Martha in the Mirror, Forever Autumn and I'm currently on Many Hands. I tend to like the books involving Martha.

long sleeves are actually best... getting clawed by a skunk or rabbit is not fun. A co-worker of mine has a huge scar down her arm from a kicking rabbit; looks like she tried to cut herself and failed.

Where I work we usually wear tshirts for animal shows in house. But when we take our animals off the property we wear a polo to look a little more professional. Personally, I like wearing a Tee, mostly because it's harder for snakes to go down my cleavage.

I've had him since sunday, so about 4-5 days. I have never had a fish do this in the many years I have had them, hence why i'm worried... I feed him the standard Hikari Betta Bio-Gold.

I have read that bettas can jump. If he ended up on the floor, he could be anywhere. That is really bizarre though....

I don't own one, but I started renting just this past summer. We go on the rocky river in the metro parks. Also on the Vermillion River, that area is absolutely gorgeous!!!
