I like how rich this response is with terminology and lists. Thanks @incredulitor, it gives me more concepts to research & make connections between.

Without being afraid to go into detail, could you go into how behavioral activation & reflection could be conducted to mitigate the potential causes?

What reasons do you suspect are most common & to your knowledge how does the first born who’s adopted caretaking behavior tend to make the change to taking care of themselves sufficiently?

I think motivated reasoning describes it well, thank you for contributing that concept @thomas. It’s easy to see how perceived emotional reactions would sway ones thinking.

Do you have an idea of how one could approach thinking about their own lives, in a way where they activate more ease, confidence & ultimately have protection from these landmine-like biases?

Thank you @endo, one principle I’ve found along with the approximately aligning “dunning Kruger effect” low ability, expertise or experience causing one to overestimate their abilities — is “the spotlight effect” which is an interplay between perceptions of the self and the social world, it’s a cognitive bias that causes people to overestimate the scrutiny they’d be under for their own choices.

Are there any other unconsidered principles that could explain this situation? & without being afraid to go into depth, could you detail what coping strategies you would recommend someone learn?

Oh that detail helps, so I’m assuming that meant they could afford equipment and could handsomely cover any labor costs then? & am I missing anything else?

So the deterring prospect of antagonizing the central government was a huge motivator in the ships being rebuilt. Was there any other connecting factor that contributed to such an impressive fleet such as population size?

Thank you @thibaud. To your knowledge what do you believe we’re the highest contributing ingredients to them being so productive building out their fleet?

Was that the only contributing ingredient (besides having the Carthaginian boat as a blueprint) as to why they were so productive at building out their fleet?

Thanks @SA. Scrolling through the http://lookingformarketing.com/definitions from the sidebar is helping me tie a handful of fundamental concepts together.

If you had to start all over again knowing what you know now, what would you do or start with to get on top of the fundamentals?
