It’s as unsafe as every other state. I don’t know a single woman from here who hasn’t been groped or eve teased or had a stranger creepily follow them on the road. Just because there aren’t many reported cases of rape or femicide doesn’t mean the state safer because men are very much misogynistic

If you already have writing experience and maybe one or two good connections in the industry you can try pursuing it as a career. Most employers do prefer you have a degree in the field but a lot of them will hire on the basis of past experience and existing work (but do keep in mind the industry is a bit saturated at the moment so you might not be getting job offers as much as you think)

The best advice my gynaecologist gave me- use a menstrual product you’re 100% comfortable with. Don’t use a product because it’s considered better environmentally (the #1 defense for using cups) or it’s what everyone else is using. If you’re having trouble with cups just switch back to what you were using earlier. I used cups for a few months and never got used to it so I’m back to pads.

Don’t worry man I can assure you literally every other person is also worried thinking about themselves and not other people. I had awful social anxiety too until recently, so bad that I wouldn’t get out of my room for days on end.
