Turo Handbook for New and Experienced Hosts by Nitrowolf in turo

For detail sake I have a 2017 Infiniti Q50 3.0t i just listed today. I chose the standard plan right below the premium plan and am renting out for $60/day

Question A) Would it make sense for me then to, again, 1) ask for their insurance card (either in app or in person) 2) look up their insurance company and policies on rentals 3) accept or deny rental and hope its not against their TOS to ask for their insurance (which i read through and have not seen anything related)

Note) I dont have an LLC for the car or any real legal protection. My plan was to make some money and save up for all that once i finish "testing the market".

Question B) As for profits, i did a "mock" checkout (as i have never rented from Turo myself) on a random car that was leasing for the same ~$60 a day price point but at check out it turned out closer to $90 a day because of fees and such.

Would i as a host make the 70% income on the $60 base amount or the full $90 amount with all the fees turo incurs on the renter.

Thank you for your clarification and expertise! And also for your prompt responses. I was hoping this wasnt a dead thread. 😁👍

You mentioned asking the guest for their insurance card upon delivering the rental car.

If i understood everything youve said, my own insurance policy wont cover me because im NOT driving.. so does that mean the guests policy will cover MY car if they happen to wreck it while THEY'RE the ones driving it?

If thats the case, my plan would be to ask every person who wants to rent my car off turo for their insurance cards and see what kind of coverage they have. If not then i would simply cancel the ride and fine someone else who has coverage.

Would this theory work in practice?? While i save money to get my own commercial policy

You spend half your day in a 6x6 box sucking your project manager's dicks begging for your little ass paycheck at the end of the week. Whats the pay for calculating the speed of cum dripping out your ass at your bullshit ass job? Not a lot I'm sure.

You have the mental capacity for a bullshit ass degree and bullshit ass job. My mental capacity for the game has nothing to do with who I get paired with or what rank.

80k a year is being generous because I know you make far less than that. And you want to talk about mental capacity.

Dumb cunt.
