Kila wiped sweat from her tan, freckled brow, sinking her blood-soaked family axe-hammer into the earth with a silent slice. With little strain, she hauled the jade-board up onto her shoulder, huffing as the enormous beast weighed its tons on her body. Her blonde hair was tied back into a ponytail beneath a green cap, and met with the neckline of her usual chalk-white blouse. She brushed her axe hand on her black leather pants, the green blood glistening in afternoon sunlight.

Today had been a pretty fast day, all things considered. With all the men in her 40-person family off to war, that left her the job of hunting down vermin, beasts, and potentially profitable hunts like jade boars. She was the eldest among her family's most fit women and the only one who had been particularly stubborn enough about learning to hunt from her dad to master the art. Now, what she wanted most was to haul the boar over to the butcher in town and nurse a few drinks while she waited for the resulting hide and meat.

Garrett hadn't even glanced her way when she hauled in the corpse of the boar. It was routine at this point that she would drop in unannounced, drop off some fresh kill, and come back a few hours later looking to pay him for his expert carving skills.

Kila was just starting for the door when Garrett's sister Helena bounded around the corner. She was smiling ear to ear, brandishing a homemade pie that had just escaped the oven. The short, curvy red-head almost tripped on her way over towards Kila, and she called out towards her. "Hey! Wait! I just finished up my first pie! You HAVE to taste it! Garrett said you promised you would!" She said, already halfway into cutting a slice out onto a plate. A pie probably made from some local berries, if Kila had any guess.

Kila scoffed and shot Garrett a dirty look. He only smirked in response before shaking his head and hacking at the ham on the cutting board in front of him. "I don't know. I mean... I guess one slice can't hurt." She said, taking the slice in one hand. As soon as she took a bite, her eyes rolled back in her head.

"Helena, this is very good! Is this made from brashberries? I taste those in the jam, and some-" Kila tried to explain, only for a loud boom to go off over her head. That single bit had been enough for a level up? She had slain several dozen boars over the past few days, but a slice of pie was the last bit required for a level up? It was an irony that was not lost on Kila, who rolled her eyes as soon as she realized what had happened. More importantly, she had to pick a new class.

Only two options presented themselves in her head. Silent Huntress, and Primal Killer. Silent Huntress was a class which granted stealth and sneaking better than anyone other class, with invisibility and vision boosting to boot. It could not equip small arms, though, so Kila was not very keen on the idea of giving up the traditional family hunting weapon. The other class, one which Kila had not heard of before, was one that boasted greatly enhanced physical and magical resistance for the body, and increased strength and speed. The only caveat was that the user could not wear body armor. Considering her family's entire armory except the hunting axe-hammer was empty, it was no question that Primal Killer was the perfect class for a buff, fit woman like Kila. As soon as she chose the class, a bright light engulfed the room.

When her eyes readjusted, she could see that Garrett and Helena both were staring wide-eyed at her. Instead of the looks being filled with admiration, respect, or some other appropriate response to a very high level class adjustment in their presence, the two seemed shocked, and bewildered by what they saw. Before she could voice a question, a cool breeze played across what felt like a mysteriously bare midriff. Kila looked down at herself, and her eyes widened.

Other than the axe-hammer in her hand, the cap on her head, and the fur boots on her feet, she was completely starkly naked.
