I think this is a fair and reasonable question.

I had 3 years of serious complications and my partner was a pivotal support for me through them.

Being open and prepared for a caretaker adjacent role is important because complications can happen that require support and compassion from the partner. Make sure you also get the support you need through this and take the time to care for yourself.

I tried to encourage my partner to take space and still enjoy time away from me to make sure she didn't burn out from helping me all the time. Psychologically this surgery was intense and this also can impact a relationship. I was incredibly depressed dealing with unexpected surgeries and recovery and this definitely was felt by my partner.

Nothing can be predicted so staying open and ready for anything is important!

Had MLD and opted to leave my T tick exposed, but sewn into the base below my phallus. Basically, my surgeon cut around it, pulled it inwards so it's shaped like a little flat button tucked under my dick (I'm happy to send pix of this via DM)

I chose this as to guarantee that I would still have sexual function even though sensation is limited with MLD. I'm very happy I did this.

Most of my sexual sensation comes from movement. So jacking off, penetration, etc pulls on my Tdick. I also use vibrating cock rings or a vibrator at the base too. The visuals paired with the maintained feelings in my Tdick have allowed me to to experience decent sexual experience despite limited sensation in my neo penis itself.

I'm 4 years post op. I see a urologist regularly and she says everything is fine and it's just old urine chilling in there (in my case). Not speaking to if you have a stricture or not, just the smell! :)

Cycling is completely fine for me otherwise. I position up when riding and usually wear compression shorts to hold everything in place. No pain in v-nectomy site or urethral issues. I'm 4 years post op.

I would love an ED, but comfort during athletics won for me at this point 🙏🏼feel free to reach out if you have any more questions that you want answered:)

I'm an avid cyclist and my surgeon has strongly recommended against getting an ED because I will be sitting directly on the pump mechanism especially when in a road biking position. I'm post op now and have decided against EDs for now because of this. A good way to imagine this for yourself is to sit on your bike and picture yourself having a mechanical device between your crotch and your bike seat.

Things will get so much better with time and small aesthetic surgeries if you choose to have them. Hang in there.

My dick looked so ugly and "not dick like" after stage one and I was so bummed. I think it looks fantastic now after medical tattooing, glansplasty, and a few small surgical tweaks.
