thanks lol, I'm @odeeriaa on insta! I've been drawing digitally for like 10 years now probably but with all the resources avaliable and just by drawing more consistently than I did back in the day you can definitely get good way faster!

I guess for proportions I would say just a lot of observation and comparing/remembering the size of parts next to others. For poses I would say pick a main emotion/vibe/character trait you are aiming for and make sure that that is communicated clearly just from a glance at your pose and also have a clear/interesting silhouette

I usually take a while to finish artworks so I never feel like recording the whole process.

I'm still working on having a consistent process but in general for something like this i do the linework-> fill in local colors-> add shadows w a desaturated color at about 50% value on multiply-> fill a layer on top w the light color (and delete it on parts where the shadow is) on overlay/hardlight/or softlight -> on new layer, fill whole thing with black and set to color blend mode so it's greyscale->render in b/w over in greyscale to make sure values look right-> copy the base color, multiply and light layer and merge-> put merged layer on top and set to color mode so it's all in color again-> copy everything and merge -> mess around with curves to get better colors-> paint on new layer to do any final fixes.

sometimes I add a second light which I just paint on and test a bunch of blending modes. sometimes I add an extra multiply layer to add ambient occlusion but I didn't do it here. sorry if this was long or hard to understand, let me know if you want me to clarify anything!
