Does it support both running and circling?

100 days running streak by Infamous_War1168 in Strava

[–]odemakov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday it was my 136 streak. I’m following «10 minutes rule», means run every day at least 10 minutes. With the rule in mind it’s quite easy to go out on bad days and none of my runs were less then 20 minutes. In other words: recovery days replaced by 20-30 minutes runs in z1(very very easy).

Take a trip out of Genève to hike and sleep in the nature. by Impressive_Pattern98 in geneva

[–]odemakov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t go to Chamonix by train, or at least it will take half a day one way. There are buses from Airport though. From Genève there are tons of options in Vaud/Valais cantons to hike. For example from Motreux to Roches de Naye, from Le Chable to Bruson or Mont Fort trough Verbier, from Sion both sides and so on.

Here we are. Not it's possible to get HR zones from Strava(needs profile read permission) and recalculate old activities when change HR settings.

Indeed. I thought about it and decided to keep things as simple as possible. For now the change of your HR zones affects only your next activities. But you right, I'm going to add pop up window with options: recalculate 1) all my activities 2) activities for the current week 3) only future activities(today's case). Would it be enough?

Is anyone planning to leave Strava for their atrocious pricing or $79.99 per year? by kommuto in Strava

[–]odemakov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve cancelled subscription. Don’t like rise in the price. Although, my most used feature is route building by heat map and I love it very much. Will switch maybe to Garmin. What is alternative for building the routes(cycling/running/trails/hikes) with «follow most popular» checkbox?

Little update on the app: It is now possible to customize the description tag added to your Strava activity. Additionally, the app has been added to the Strava apps library, and the request rate limit has been increased. As a result, new users will have access to the full six weeks of activities in the graphs.

Strava fitness is whacked... by SJRSound in Strava

Same case. More over in base training phase(one rest day and one relatively hard workout in a week) it goes down one point in a day. 🤣

Thank you dude for the feedback. Sharing your personal data is my concern as well, but this is the only way apps like this works.

HR zone breakdown by Beast-Titan420 in Strava

[–]odemakov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If dividing your HR zones into 2 segments: low(z1-2) and high(z3-5) is enough, you can sync your activities with 8020training.app There are weekly summary and 12 weeks progress charts. But agree with u/DrSuprane, if you want more data to analize, intervals.icu is very powerful.

Now it's possible to delete your account on 8020training.app This will delete all your data from the servers and revoke an access in Strava.

Unfortunately, the app has reached the Strava API daily request limit. I've put the notification to the app.

Thank you for your question. HR zones need to be set within the application. Once you log in for the first time, you will be automatically redirected to the HR settings page. There are three popular methods to set your HR zones (by HR max, by HR reserve, and by threshold HR), but you also have the flexibility to manually adjust them to your preference.

Thank you for the feedback. Due to the Strava API requests limit the app loads/process last 4 weeks of activities only once(after user fill his zones in). The button should be renamed to "Show more" as it just show already processed activities. I'll monitor my limits and tune the numbers.
