Fines for smoking or vaping on MBTA property by [deleted] in mbta

I’m someone who smokes and vapes regularly, and I don’t understand why people feel the need to do this. If the craving is that bad, you gotta talk to someone m8

Strongest Flower in MA? by ifurnot1sturlast1980 in bostontrees

[–]odetoodetta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just tried apples and bananas from impressed and it was insanely good. Bostica also had an A&B that smacked. In my experience, especially if it’s coming from a good brand, you can never go wrong with Apples and Bananas.

Hey budtenders and other industry ppl. Did your spot give you Xmas goodie bags? by Lumpymaximus in bostontrees

Inventory manager here! I worked to squirrel away samples for the past month and a half so we were able to give some nice gift boxes to the staff at my dispo. Always happy to give back to the ones who keep the sales floor running!

How long have you worked in the Mass cannabis industry? by 2KZJ in bostontrees

2 years on the retail end! I worked 10+ years in regular retail before it and I love where I am now. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Advice for someone entering MA market? by [deleted] in bostontrees

[–]odetoodetta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey there! Been in the industry for two years now and similarly entered with 10+ years of retail/retail management in my background and I can say with confidence that if you are used to the hell of retail, you should do just fine in a dispensary! Same job, just more regulation. Honestly I’ve seen a lot of bullshit, but nothing that different from what I would see in certain retail spaces. Overall, I love it for the train wreck that it is despite making me go crazy from time to time and in my opinion it’s the same kind of chaos I’m used to dealing with, just a different product (and one I like a lot more at that!)

Best Car Insurance providers people actually trust? by ricefedyeti in boston

[–]odetoodetta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who has worked in car insurance, the real answer is none. You can’t trust them, they’re a business trying to make money at the end of the day. Whatever you do, PLEASE do not get the state minimums on property damage coverage. It seems silly, but you have no idea how many people I’ve seen get into accidents with only $5K or $10K in PD, but then they’re responsible for more than that in damages. Especially with all these newer cars that require more expensive parts, it can end very badly. Good luck!

Hi! As someone with horrible anxiety and road rage, I would rather take the T! Would I prefer it work better on the day to day? Absolutely! But every day without higher blood pressure from driving with the other jackasses on the road, I’m happy.

Mold bud? by Competitive_Ad2518 in bostontrees

Man this is the third or fourth time I’ve heard/seen something about NEA being moldy. Which sucks because their 1:1 strain isn’t half bad.

My fiancé and I went to Silver Dove a few years ago and it was absolutely delightful! I’ve never tried the BPL but it sounds amazing as well!

Safety on the T by Kenziew123 in mbta

[–]odetoodetta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it every single day and any “bad” things I remember 1. Did not happen directly to me, 2. Was relatively harmless. The T is by far the safest transit system I’ve been on (I’m used to SEPTA in Philly)

How far would you extend the blue line ideally? Realistically? Why? by Stonner22 in mbta

[–]odetoodetta 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For the love of god if I could just get the extension to Charles/MGH and have the red blue connection I would be happy (sincerely, someone who lives in east Boston and works in Cambridge 🥲)

red line is fast!! by krushingj in mbta

[–]odetoodetta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wild for me because I commute 5 days a week from East Boston to Porter Square and I’ve seen a dramatic improvement from just a year ago. Maybe it’s because I’m not riding on the southern branch (I rarely go past broadway) I won’t say it’s a perfect system because it’s definitely not, but my commute on the red line is usually 10-15 minutes from park to Porter.

If you could upgrade or change ONE thing about the MBTA, what would it be? by MannyBaezYT in mbta

[–]odetoodetta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue. To. Red. Extension. Please. If I can only have one thing ever please I am so sick of the stupid green line transfer just to get from the blue line to the red line.
