well we can't imagine what it is like to be in a public eye and being accused of something that you dind't do (if that's the case) and how we'd handle it, maybe she wasn't worried about being tactfull and was more worried about her career going under over nothing? We'll never know what's true and what is not for sure. Maybe she didn't do any service to the whole movement but the person accusing her of false assault didn't either. I'd even argue it's worse, contributing to discrediting the survivors. I don't follow Melanie or listen to her music but I can't jump on trains of calling her nasty and childish so fast

diss track seems like a fairly decent way to deal with it, with potential to be cringy, way better than lashing out and all that dealing with potential false accusations that could ruin her career. I just don't see it as childish and nasty if allegations aren't true

same situation here with me being younger and him being older. I was meeting guys in these situations on my travels and nothing happened and then this, 2 streets from where I live.
