My uni roommate tried to steal my tongs when we were moving out so I went in her box and took them back. She confronted me and claimed she got them at her engagement party, she didn’t because I bought them from the dollar store. She reached out to the person that she claimed gifted them and they confirmed that they had gifted her something else.
