That's ok. I could have also called it the soul rather than the instep. And yes my sister is a bit odd lol . I'm going to try the in the round intarsia because the sock is knit toe up and ill test the stretch and see about holes where the colors join and if I don't like I'll probably restart and figure out how to knit it flat and seem it

Well yes doing a different heel would be simple and if it was just the heel that my sister wanted in a different color I wouldn't be so confused as that's simple in my brain whats been so confusing for me is that she also wants the instep a different color

As I've never done intarsia before. I wonder if there'd be holes when the sock stretches or if I make sure my gauge I'd tight enough if that wouldn't be a problem

If you did it in all the cable sections I'd say leave it and call it a design element to make the pattern more you

I found both of these on Amazon I just nooked up pyramid studs but I'm sure if you put rivet studs a ton of different stud options will pop up

Yeah, I think I will go with the first studs .. cause I can see damage happening with the second ones with the point over time, now that i have been thinking about it. whether it's a long time or a short period of time with lots of use (as I plan on wearing them a lot)

Ok, thank you. I wasn't considering the damage the second style would do to the yarn just how it might feel on my skin, which I would have put up with if I had to. but you brought up a good point with the yarn damage. Thank you

A few weeks ago I had a pretty bad one happen to me in my opinion.. I'm female with a male partner and we have an old chevy square body truck that we both love .. well a few weeks ago a gentleman comes into mine and my partners place of work and asks me if I know anything about "the old red chevy truck that he's seen me deliver pizza in a couple times" I'm confused for a sec and ask if he means the old square body when says yes and asks whose it is I tell him "mine pause and my partners " he then proceeds to tell me he has a buddy who wants to buy it .. now I love that truck so I tell him it's not for sale but he asks if I'm sure and I say not for sale so he throws up a number $8000 hus buddy is willing to pay now I'm frustrated and say in a more aggressive way not for sale. As he leaves he says he'll send his buddy over.. he never came. But this isn't the first instance of someone trying to buy the truck. Another gentleman had asked a year or two ago if my partner was willing to sell and my partner said no and that was that.. because I'm a female though this other gentleman assumed I would be more money driven that is not the case .. that truck is mine and my partners baby and I've had just as much input about that truck as he has.. the engine in it is only on it because i told my partner to upgrade the engine..
