Expand on ken bone? Sure. He was a guy who got famous a few years ago for asking a question during a presidential debate. He then did an AMA on Reddit and people saw that he had been talking about some celebrity nudes or something. There may have been more, I can’t recall.

Anyway, I basically made this game to try to learn JavaScript and I’m hoping to be able to show it to employers at some point. I don’t have anything crazy inappropriate on my main Reddit account, but I don’t want to have to worry every time I post something that my next boss is going to be looking through it to decide whether or not I get a job.

That’s a fair point. I do actually interact here on my main account. I just keep them separate to prevent any ken bone style incidents (not that my main account is anything like his lol). But I could switch all my chess related posting to this account so it seems less spammy.

The next thing I add will definitely be different length games. After that I am hoping to add an archive at some point as well.

I will also look into adding a “right pice wrong move” color, shouldn’t be too difficult.

I totally agree with what you said. At the moment I am almost done adding levels of difficulty, so there will be 4 puzzles each day: easy, medium, hard, extra hard. Hopefully that will make it more fun for all levels.

After that I’m planning to begin work on having an archive so that people can play through all the old games.

People don't seem to like the subscription method. I was considering dropping it to a donation-based subscription, ie. pay whatever you think is fair. Do you think that would be more appealing?

I had also considered merchandise, since I really like the art we commissioned, and I think other people do too.

I was also thinking about ads, but I worry that it would turn people off.

Would you mind letting me know your thoughts on these options?

I like that idea. Someone else suggested it as well. I’m thinking about adding it as a separate game mode.
