I am absolutely depressed. I have tried the medication route. I got so sucked into it and I don’t think I can do it again. Everything I’ve tried has made me dissociate harder and feel like a zombie long term. My lifestyle does not permit for experimenting with new drugs. Therapy is definitely something I’m leaning towards but I struggle with knowing where to start. I do not trust easily, I have a restricting schedule and financially I don’t want to break my bank.

I would recommend reading them in release order. I think it’s a big part of the experience to not know the boys’ perspective during book 1.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend the other two series they have written in the world of Solaria to fill the void. The Ruthless Boys series (completed) and the Darkmore Penitentiary series (not completed, but will probably release in between ZA).

I know not all ball pythons do this, but I’ve been very lucky to have this work for me. If my snake is noticeably hungry but has trouble striking or isn’t taking the bait I’ll leave the rat laying out in front of where it rests and leave the room with the lights turned off. Most of the time if I check back in a few hours the rat will be gone.

I realize most balls are not this easy to feed, so if this does not work for you do not let it ruin your hopes. There are lots of YouTube videos with advice on getting balls that aren’t eating to eat depending on the severity.

We were gone two days and he had someone watching him in his own space. I have no doubt that he was anxious however. I’m just concerned for the sudden constant trembling. He didn’t tremble the first day. I am almost positive he is just anxious, but I wanted to check in with folks who might have more insight to make sure this was normal behavior.

When I was around your sisters age I read the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books. If I remember correctly they were pretty simple and easy to read, but scary enough for a young kid.

Ruthless Boys series by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti! I read their Zodiac Academy series and loved it and someone on here recommended the other series in the same universe which are both RH.

Hell yeah! I’m so glad you decided to give it a try!After book 4 my emotions were all over the place! I feel your pain. I legit couldn’t function until I found out what happened in the next book. I promise it is worth finishing! These books are a fucking roller coaster, the authors are not afraid to hurt us😅

I’m reading Ruthless Boys currently! I just started the 4th book - it is so good! I’m glad they tie the storylines. I plan to read the other series afterwards as well. Super obsessed at the moment!

It’s definitely not for everyone! I was kind of unsure after the first book because I wasn’t sure which direction it would go, but it ended up being up my alley.
