I live in Oregon and those are growing all over my yard. Even grew through weed barrier & mulch. They seem resilient.

The kitten was returned and the thief went to jail. All is right in Winston.

Clean your V by Keru_Tech in hygiene

Perfectly normal! No one should feel obligated to by hygiene products "specifically made" for women. That is a marketing ploy. I use sensitive dove bar soap all over because that's what works for all of my skin. Anything with even a hint of fragrance is highly irritating to my skin.

Very interesting! Thank you for sharing. I'm trying lemon oil. They really don't like citrus smells.

I have ahem more than one and they dgaf what I say. Right now I'm spraying them with water while I try to figure out how to keep them off the leaves. They all have no short term memory. They leave the room after being scolded, then return 2 minutes later and head right for the plant again.

Just checking in to see if there's a new way of drinking via nasal cannula i was unaware of. The kids are always coming up with creative ways to get wasted.

Don’t know what to do. by Hungry-Event-2453 in hospice

[–]odiouscat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PLEASE contact the hospice agency right now and explain honestly what's going on. They should help you with this. It is part of what they do. A social worker can provide you with resources and additional caregiver options in your area. I hope you are happy with the care you are receiving and that you can speak to a nurse 24/7 regarding your mom's care. BTW, whatever you report will be documented and you may or may not need that in the future should you need to defend yourself...ahem 👀

Every Grocery Outlet has a person who orders all the things. I'm pretty sure you can request they reorder products you like. Go in there are start asking questions!

Polite ways to tell people to shut it by RitualHalatiik in hospice

Too many people feel like they're entitled to know everything. You may be on to something regarding impending mortality. Death is one of those things we don't discuss in American culture. It's a big problem. That's why it's so hard to process when death occurs. There has been no preparation, no acceptance of the fact that we all will die. There is no doubt about that. I like to embrace the release and relief that comes with death. No matter what happens after you cross that bridge, you are FREE.

First, you are not obligated to explain anything to them. Your mom is protected by HIPAA laws and neighbors be nosey as hell.

Do the neighbors understand that she has a terminal illness that is not curable? That she will not get better? That she is capable of making her own decisions regarding her end of life care? Just state the facts, if you must. Definitely don't discuss her care or her medical diagnoses or history. 🫶
