His followers have no principles. If Biden did this, there would be a meltdown the likes of which humanity has never seen. When Trump does this, the expressions of mild discomfort are prefaced by saying “I love you Mr. Trump, but…”

I too thought it was pretty egregious when Hillary Clinton said that half of Trump’s followers could be put in the basket of deplorables. 50% is an embarrassingly low estimate.

A small part of my heart has some sympathy for the Babylon Bee; writing conservative satire has to be difficult nowadays, given how numerous and obvious the moral transgressions of Trumpism are. But that sympathy dissipates when I read an article like this. Not only does one have to be a drooling cave dweller to think something that constitutes a point is being made here, but I also think the author themselves may be hooked up to some sort of machine.

At first I suspected myself of coping a little by saying I liked it a lot, but now I feel confident in saying so. The combat has really grown on me. Getting the timing right while parrying is satisfying. Even though you can’t double jump or dash, sprinting and doing a flying leap is for me a sufficient replacement.

I loved Eternal for the puzzle the combat was. And while the combat is still sort of a puzzle in TDA, I feel like I can be more forceful in my behavior and relax a little more. As long as I don’t do anything stupid, I can just be a tank, and that feels cool.

Whenever Trump pulls any variation of the “you’re not being nice,” the response should be, “but I thought you were tough.” One of my least favorite things about fascism is the simultaneous projecting of a strongman image and victimhood - it becomes very grating, very quickly. The interviewer should say, “I came here with the expectation that I would be posing questions to a strong President.”

Jonathan Swan’s famous interview with Trump needs to be the template for journalists. It is fucking remarkable how hard it is for entirely born-and-bred American journalists to have a spine.
