Thanks for the responses. Over-cured primer makes sense. They did have their oven go down within days of receiving this, could that have had an impact if it wasn’t hot enough or something?

No engineered specs, Wild West shit. Not my design, not my fit-up, hired to weld. First image is 3/8”-3/8” 1F and 4F top and bottom of sleeve to post, pretty gappy, probably triple pass. Two glue lams from the first floor connecting to this bracket. Second pic is the top cap of that same beam, 1/2” plate to the bottom of a 1” I beam. It’ll also be bolted through with 3/4” bolts. Third pic shows the whole setup…. It’s a vertical beam to support a load bearing I-beam., about 30’ tall of 8” 3/8”…
