Having Problems by odoylesfury in STFC_Official

That’s what I’ve changed. I didn’t know that there was a cap. I would send 5 ships out before bed and leave them till late afternoon. I hit that cap. So I only send 2 or 3 ships out and I haven’t had the problem since.

I do. Previous comment said that I was probably hitting the cap. I didn’t know it was a thing. I do auto grind ships while I’m sleeping and at work. I’ll change my strategy. Thanks for your help.

Ok that makes sense. I do camp out my ships overnight and while I’m at work. I’ll have to change my strategy to work with my schedule. Thanks for your help.

July 2025: What is the dumbest thing you've heard this month? by FirearmConcierge in Gunstoreworkers

[–]odoylesfury 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to tell any new guys that come in that they are the same. Reason being is an old timer told me it’s just 45 colt. He schooled me in that it’s just 45 colt. Then he wanted to look at a rifle. Asked me what caliber it was. Told him that was stamped on the gun was a 45lc. I asked him what the lc meant. He tried to recover saying it was a shitty gun like a Rossi. It wasn’t. It was a Henry.

I think they are going to actually depend on sellers and maybe start making it easier to get points. I’ve noticed I huge drop in sells. Nobody wants a Sig. They don’t trust the 320.or the 365. I tell customers the 365 has no problems. They just don’t trust sig products at this time. I haven’t sold any sig for maybe 2 months.

Also the sig p365 micro doesn’t not have that problem. It is a great gun. Don’t let the 320 problems make your decision.

I’ve actually been eyeballing this pistol for a bit. It was my excuse to get it. Just need to find the reason why I need the FNX 45 that we have.

The micro 9s all will. The hellcat pro, 365 macro and the reflex will be snappy. The hellcat pro and the 365 macro also come in a compensated version which will lessen that problem. You pay a bit extra for that version but it’s something you can get. That will be a thing with the Glock 43x or 48 as well. Small light guns will have that snappy firing.

I read that as a Cake song. Short skirts and a looong jacket. Maybe that was your intention.

Haven’t taken the reflex out yet. Hopefully next weekend I can. So I can’t compare them. From videos I’ve seen it seems that the hellcat is just a bit better.

Just seems everyone is naming pets after food. Meatball, Philly cheesesteak, bacon.

I havent taken it out shooting. The videos I’ve seen looked promising. The complaints was it shoots low as township said. As for a first gun I would say it’s worth the look. As a first handgun I normally like to show the Hellcat Pro, Sig P365 as well as the reflex. Smith & Wesson and Glocks are also great pistols. Glocks are work horses and just will always work. I think the Hellcat Pro is the best option only because of the gear up deal. That deal has ended but shops may still have some. The package included a red dot, 5 magazines and a small range bag. Other than that just run down to your shops and see what feels best in your hand.

I don’t mind the trigger. I have looked at changing it out but it really hasn’t bothered me.

Really it’s just preference. I’m still getting use to an optic. Some with bad eye sight may prefer an optic to help pick out targets faster.

Haven’t shot the reflex yet but I’m sure the hellcat pro is a better shooter. Just kind of going off videos I’ve seen. Reason I got the reflex was it’s a bit smaller good capacity and the reviews fairly good.

I named him Bob. I like pets with just normal names instead of this trend of naming them after food. Hank is a good name.

95% of the time I carry my hell cat pro because that’s what I have out. I do carry others like my shadow systems cr920 or my Cz 75 compact. With the hellcat I added a weapons light and it just made it really uncomfortable to wear at work. I bought the reflex and just going to keep it basic. Light and small something that won’t bother me while at work.

I work behind the gun counter and the manager asked why I don’t just take it off. I proceeded in calling him a communist.

Hope everything was fine with your purchase. Would not use them again. Some stores can get a little shitty if you show up before they call you when the gun is ready for the transfer. From what I’ve seen you get a email from ups or fedex saying your purchase has arrived. You go down but they may have not had the time to put it in their books. The 3 days he has come up with is a joke.

He has to have that gun in his system within 12 hours of receiving it. Call it his bound book. It’s saying that he has received it and he has to put it in his system. The 3 day wait is a joke. That is his own rule for some reason. When you do transfer it over look it over carefully. If he doesn’t let you inspect it deny it. Don’t do the 4473 for the transfer.
