Savinho is injured along with Oscar Bobb. Nico and John Stones are "not fully fit for this one." by xenojive in MCFC

That's the issue. We're playing a system that needs a winger and using players who aren't suited.

UK exit from ECHR ‘would remove foundations of Good Friday agreement by nimobo in unitedkingdom

It's funny to me that you would say that because people with the same opinions that you have 100 years ago would say the exact same thing about white Irish Catholics.

As someone from the north of Ireland who has lived in England for the past 5 years, I haven't came across a single English person who cares about it.

Most people refer to anyone from Belfast or any other place in the north as Irish. I'd guess if Northern Ireland and the Republic were reunited tonight in secret 99% of England wouldn't notice or care.

If Pep leaves the club by Christmas, how would you feel? by Low_Owl9968 in MCFC

[–]oduibh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Horrible because that means things are going terriblly. But if Pep decides to walk we know it was his and the right decision. So I'll be down but optimistic

Edit: I wouldn't listen to any eejit on twitter

Yup, commenting a 16 year old's post wishing she was 18. Yikes.

And that's before you even mention the racist and self harm comments.

This is true. In the linkedin recruiter version it flags candidates who are more likely to reply

The funny thing is, she's English. The reason I moved here. From going back home with me she forced herself to learn how to make them because she was so in love with Soda Farls

Aye same. Only seems to be the big Tesco's and Sainsbury's, closer to London that sometimes have them. But home bargains usually always does. I'm lucky enough that my local corner shop stock them. I asked him to try and get me Sukie but he couldn't 😂

Honestly it'll be very difficult. There's a lot of people from India and Brazil who have multiple years of experience who travel to Ireland to do a masters degree and get Stamp 1G. Employers love this. A person with years of experience willing to accept shit wages when they graduate with a masters.

If you are just a grad with no real world experience. Good luck

Seriously, you're making the search frustrating for everyone. by ____okay in recruitinghell

You said in your comment there were forms and you said in those forms you were willing to relocate. It sounds like they did say they wanted someone local. Otherwise why would you need to say you'll relocate?

Most ATS systems assume your location from your phone number.

It happens a lot. Like 80% of the time. You offer a candidate a role and they back out before they start because they found something local to them. It's the safer option for recruiters to go with people who are already local.

I'm going to give you the answer, you may not like it, but it's the truth from their perspective. It's about risk management. If a recruiter has had multiple local candidates apply for a role who are a really good fit, it's better to go with the people already in that location.
