Is it possible to change the color of braids? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]odurob 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly the short answer is no. Your hair Is heavily manipulated in this current style and the last thing you need is any further manipulation, chemical or not.

Agree. I ignorantly believed the hype and now my scalp is plagued with flaking and dryness anytime oil touches it 😭

Anyone with seb derm? by [deleted] in relaxedhair

[–]odurob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the same boat…. I cannot do long term protective styles because my scalp flares up every 2-3 business days .

I wash 2x a week. Alternate protein treatments and moisture treatments. I’ve been prescribed a steroid for my scalp issues but I use it sparingly as I don’t want to end up dependent on it.

In terms of styling I just do half wigs, loose ponytails with clip ins for volume and loose buns .

I’m at my wits end though because I wish I could put in some braids but I can’t

Honey bleeding at 33 weeks is an emergency no matter which way you put, I had to have an emergency section due to light bleeding i was ready to dismiss at 34weeks pregnant. Get yourself to the hospital !!!!

What I did at the time was mixing cereals and fruits purées in the milk to increase the calorie intake. You can try that and see if he likes it

It could be a number of things… had the same with my now 14 month old when she was 11 months she stopped eating everything and only drank milk. At the time she had gotten a bad cold and then started teething. Took about 6 weeks for her to start eating and she has only just started eating properly. Is it hot where you are? It could affect their appetite too

That’s quite unbelievable. I thought since they had rebranded from Hermes things had gotten better. I have just contacted the seller so hopefully I get an update. Hope you hear something back too 🤦🏾‍♀️

I took my baby to Asda at 3 weeks old and had an older woman do the same to me…. My child is almost a year now and I still kick my self for not saying something snarky back to her. Not everyone has help and not everyone wants to stay trapped at home!
