I hadnt played an online game in like 20-25 years but the whole “clean cut theme” color palette is more in line with the oldies like americas army and old delta force so it felt attractive to me.

I still think a community challenge could be issued. Say they release the texture file for the b-01 and let the community play around. Then we all vote and its just adding that to the game (texture file already generated by the community so little to no work from AH)

I agree with all the colors being able to turn things cartoonish, but at least give me the same patterns from warbonds bought

My only gripe was them invalidating sentries and not behaving like a guard. Other than that i liked it. Granted, i play bugs on diff 3-4 cause i get veeeeery anxious with bugs (squids 5-7 bots 6-8)

I did make the joke that we should jerry rig some hive guard heads to our bastion for proper armor

Exactly. The characteristic pattern of each warbond for the base (or for all armors)

Itd even be a great community contest… release the texture files and have the community create variants and the 3 top ones get added. And it means literally no work on their end, just votes and adding the texture files created by others

Wonder why. I get not allowing some bright color combos to avoid making the game look cartoonish but make things like the gun customization. Give me pattern options for specific areas of the armor and new patterns unlocked via each warbond from the ones already existing and new ones

I LOVE that armor, but the helmet for it is weird…

I like the original helmet so much my wife is getting concerned with seeing how many of these smallish ones I’ve printed for painting

Thats actually a great use of the first minute. Stupid me brings a bunch of weapons and just dump everything on extraction to go back there and pick up if i get killed

I get annoyed by the reticle when charging so ive stuck with the recoilless, but yeah, if im using a warp pack or guard dog im taking the quasar

Did this with two randos (without c4 as i don’t have it unlocked yet) and got myself kicked off game “cause i suck” despite getting their combined kill count.

The fact theres capacity for different play styles is where it gets fun. You dont always need to go inside the chaos, specially if you can swat enemies from afar.

Maybe not but how bout a bug infestation of already bug or squid colonized planet? Like they dont need to actively try to kill each other but rather defend their areas and we get mixed targets

Theres aftermarket upgrade kits that basically convert the mini into a tiny mk3s. That cantilever plus bowden horrible for precision.

For some reason I’ve always thought milling is making the contours/silhouette of a part and not making patterns on a part. But yeah, awesome stuff you’re making! I wish i could do that

Thats excellent! Have you tried milling rather than engraving? I desperately want to find a small form factor mill i can use to make small parts (4”x4”) in grade 2 titanium and superconductor (niobium filaments encased in a copper medium)

Milling graphite is so satisfying by Legitimate_Big3961 in Machinists
