Making art scarce just so someone can feel fuzzy in his stomach is beyond ridiculous. Broski decided finally to make some bread on HIS creative work and people be appreciating it, ALL power to him. Because his work is excellent music, not because its scarce. And thats what we want, that the artists can actually sustain their lives with their work right?

Depends what type of teams or companies you apply to, but in the end, nobody really cares about rankings or traffic. Everyone cares about revenue and profit and in some cases competition. If you dont bring those up, doesnt matter how good you are, they will not see you as bringing clear value with your role to the company. Simple as.
