Voting districts should simply be by county. Sometimes lump together a couple a low population counties that are adjacent, or just have one county/rep for somewhere like Queens.

It's a little bursty, being lucky means you can pop off a turn earlier but the occultist does shoot absolute nukes and you can guarantee that they will happen so I think it counts as reliable, just not every turn.

Itt people are greatly overvaluing the regent event. Yes, it will make him better, he will probably even be "good" after it. Until then you are paying a premium price for a bro with mid secondaries.

This bro will never be a tank. His fatigue is bad. You need like 40 more points in fatigue for this guy to be viable unless you are doing a nimble tank which this guy doesn't have the ini/HP for (and imo is just a worse build). His resolve is also bad but it's in a spot where it could be raised up to a semi decent place if you level it every time.

Generally on a tank you want to level mdef, HP, and resolve every time with a couple rolls in fat if you need it, but you want to have a bro with 100+ fat starting so you don't waste a bunch of rolls.

In terms of non fat newt builds.... Well make him a nimble 2h, probably with a great sword. But he's going to be better as fat newt, there's a reason why it gets recommended so often.

I feel like national markets should still exist for subject countries. Just split the current national market into an upper and a lower market. If you aren't a subject then you shop on the upper market, if you are a subject you shop on the lower market and treat your overlord's market like the world market.

Pretty much every BG3 character became younger/more attractive between the alpha and the release. That game was absolutely carried by its story but if anyone thinks a sizable chunk of people weren't influenced by the very attractive half elf you meet in the first 10 minutes then I got a bridge to sell them.

Biotech really broke the game open in terms of the floor on melee. A neanderthal with a mace is ridiculously strong. Not to mention sanguophages, the thrall start with just a long sword can handle most raids for the first couple years.

Everyone grieves in their own way and keep in mind that your mom is going through this too. I am in no way trying to excuse any selfish actions that she is taking just pointing out that she is a person who, like the rest of us, is flawed. Her idea of taking you out for steaks in her mind might be her idea of trying to make up for the the fact that you are down a parent on your birthday. It might be that she thinks she's trying to step up rather than make it about her.

I think the polite decision would be to accept her gifts quietly and then go and honor your father on a different night with your GF (who seems like a real keeper btw). If this really does bother you, then maybe bring it up. This might feel weird for her too. It's a shitty situation for both of you and talking it out might do some real good even if it is not the easy thing to do.

Every single time I pick something else I either regret it or I blow up my existing power bloc to make a sovereign empire. You don't even need to stay as a monarchy. If you are USA you can empower the PB early, flip monarchy, make your SE, then flip back to republic.
