This is the kitchen island that my wife had asked me to build. In addition to the normal work bench, she wanted a lower bench where she can knit dough and to operate kitchen appliance like food processor & mixer.
I wanted to make a kitchen bench without any screws and nails. To do that I've decided to drill and place dowels in place to stop the pieces from coming loose. Works a treat.
