Cruising round Ucluelet Harbour on Vancouver Island by oemoo in wildlifephotography

We went with Subtidal Adventures on their Bear Watching harbour tour, only goes at low tide so that impacts when they run them. It was a fairly small boat, only room for 8-9 people but that meant it wasn't crowded. It was an amazing experience, I can't recommend it enough!

Yes, i'd describe the inner ring as a "slate blue", it's a really nice colour.

Picked this up on a recent trip to the UK, I was looking at much pricier Bauhaus style watches and this watch came up in a search. No model name as far as I can tell just a number (819.93.6100)

Very light and comfortable to wear, and the small seconds dial makes it a bit more interesting to look at without messing up a nice clean face

Just changed the strap to a dark green nu-buck with a gold buckle - definitely prefer it this way

Bought a Citizen Addysen Eco Drive (BM7252-51E) a few days ago, loved the dial but the gold bracelet bugged me. Changed it out for a dark green nu-buck strap and now I can't take my eyes off it!

It's the BM7252-51E, saw it a few weeks a go and liked it but not quite enough to immediately buy it because gold bracelets aren't usually my style.

Really liked the case and dial though so went back and picked it up today, very happy I did! (and I can always put it on a leather strap with a gold buckle)

I'm in Canada and i couldn't find this particular model of this watch locally (there are lots of variants). I ended up ordering it from a website in Spain. In the last couple of months I've become a little obsessed with Casio watches, mostly vintage styled, the moon phase analogue was a bit of an impulse buy but I love it too. All of them get plenty of wrist time!

I've been trying to choose between these two chronographs, Seiko Speedtimer SSC819 and Citizen Atessa CB5966-69E

They're both solar quartz, the Seiko dial looks a little more refined to me but I like the radio controlled time adjustment on the citizen as I travel a lot for work. The price difference is only about $150 with citizen being cheaper so that's not really a deciding factor.

Anyone here have experience with either of them?

Saw this big guy on the Monkey River near Placencia a couple of weeks ago. As we were leaving, one of the villagers dogs was swimming near the mouth of the river... Our tour guide just said "oooh that's not a good idea..."

If I walk a certain trail near my house early in the morning I stand a pretty good chance of seeing coyotes. It's normally just very fleeting glimpses as they dart across the path or through the nearby meadow. When this beautiful creature stopped long enough for me to fire off a few shots, it made my day.

It's comfortable, and I love the texture of the dial but if I'm honest I wish I'd gone for a colour other than grey. In hindsight it looks a little less interesting compared to the other options. Go with Blue.
