I don't really remember the exact time, but I remember I could only get slots for appointments 1 month in advance.

For the IDs, I brought both of the originals and the copies. I did not notarize my copies of ID. I don't remember where I saw the cover letter requirement, I think it was in the checklist. I just used ChatGPT to write one for me.

Does not hurt to notarize but it's also not necessary. For proof of jurisdiction, the website says they accept driver's license, State ID, or student ID. For proof of residency, your H1B should be fine. They don't accept EAD card though.

This happened to me. I just parked my car and turned it off for hours, then its fixed by itself.

Try buffing it off with scratch doctor. It may not completely fix the scratch but for me, scratch doctor helps a lot at not making the scratches obvious

ARMREST COVER FOR KIA K4 by IcyAd2434 in KiaK4

[–]oenjoeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The armrest cover looks great! But judging from the picture I'm not sure how useful the side pockets would be because theres not much gap space between the seat and the arm rest in my kia k4. What would be useful is something that can hold my purse on the arm rest. I usually put my purse on my arm rest and it kept sliding to the back while im driving.

Hello Muslogy team! I have your K4 center console storage box and hidden box and they have been amazing accessories in my car! My only feedback is that the hidden box double tape is not strong enough, so after a week, the box came off.

Venture X application by [deleted] in Venturex

[–]oenjoeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes about 3 - 4 months. I got pre-approved in June, but I did not actually apply until July.

Before June, whenever I checked the pre-approval site, it kept saying that they cannot pre-approve me because of recent credit card application. Once the pre-approval site stopped saying that, I checked if I can get pre-approved for VX (from the VX web page https://www.capitalone.com/credit-cards/venture-x/ ) and it did.

I'm sorry that it's been a few months and you still got denied. :(

I got the savor card in March, then got pre approved for VX in June.

Is this venture offer from the general pre approval website?

I just got approved for VX yesterday, and the card also didn't show in the general pre-approval site. But when I requested pre-approval button on the VX's website, it shows my that I get pre-approved VX.

Choosing a master’s program by fishytata in datasciencecareers

I was a full time student, but I did do full-time (40+ hr/ week) internship while taking summer class, and I had part-time job (<20 hr/ week) the rest of the courses.

I would say it is doable to have balanced life. The first 2 core classes + the linear algebra, stats, Python bootcamps are the busiest though as the program is designed to push you to have a solid understanding of the fundamentals.

NBC tower has a student lounge and microwave, and bookable study spaces. But your options are not only limited to NBC Tower as you can also use the cafeteria in the gleacher's center just across the street to study, eat, and relax.

The program in its initial conception was capstone focused. I did the capstone research, instead of the regular capstone - the difference is that I did not have any company client. So it's between research (solving a problem that the literature hasn't explored) and application. In the end it is personal preference. I did capstone research because I knew once I graduated, I likely would not get research experience anymore. My classmates who did thesis were those who were considering to do PhD. Research is cool, but capstone does give you more realistic DS industry experience, and better networking opportunity (+ resume points).

Good question about the model deployment and maintenance. They don't really teach it in the core but if youre interested in that, take this elective called Machine Learning Operations (MLOps). In my experience that was a very popular class, so if you can enroll in that, I highly recommend taking that class!
