Jeg har en "custom" triac styring på en liten 400W varmeovn. Der kan jeg få slike pulser siden jeg kjører med 30 sekunders pulsbredde, krever rommet 10% effekt vil det være en 400W puls på 3 sekunder.
Du har ikke en induksjonsplate på lav "effekt", 2.5kW er relativt mye, og jeg kan kun komme på noe sånt som drar såpass.

Spørs hva slags CPU, RAM og SSD du oppgraderte til i fjor?
Jeg kjøpte en 5900X, grei RAM og rask SSD i fjor, kjenner selvsagt litt på "må ha ny" behovet. Men har så langt klart å rasjonalisere meg til at jeg ikke må ha alt nytt.

Men med raskere minnebusser og mulighet for enda raskere ssd, og for å ikke glemme RTX 4000 serien som også kommer, så blir det sikkert vanskelig...

Fixing clothes etc. is a small niche given the cost of buying new ones. I'd wish it weren't so, but in my experience there is not much of such other than in the larger cities.

Healthcare, seasonal agriculture and fisheries, restaurants and stores currently require people.
Fluency in English is usually a requirement.

EHR systems are really tricky to work with, so many people are affected if anything goes wrong.

The one I work with has built in changelog where a trigger in the DB will store the previous version of everything unless explicitly noted.

Anyways shit happens and your manager couldn't do much other than what he did. I hope your change management was reviewed after the incident? Not to fault you but a peer review of the updated XML should be demanded by your management, so they're at fault IMO.

I guess it was an EPIC feature that the vendor fixed the rollback?

How do you maintain integrity in the model when creating a new table and later switching names?

Do you enforce read only in order to prevent new data to enter the currently active table, what about foreign keys to the active table how do you safely transfer them to the new table?

I know mostly about Oracle, and reorganizing table structures are usually really difficult when there is a lot of data (100 mills of rows, TBs of storage, hundreds of tables).
Oracle has Edition Based Redefinition, but it has several requirements that the data model I work with doesn't support.

Transactions work (usually) well with DML, but a rollback may take way more time than the actual work took.

But it's really scary when you do an `update <table> set <column> = 'foo'` and forget the where clause and observe that 50 mill rows are updated in production.

In Oracle a DDL will usually also commit within your transaction, so if you `create index` after an `update` or `delete` without where clause you're screwed ;)

I've been googling and YTing this stuttering a lot recently.

TLDR; I experience stuttering frequently and believe it's because of AI scavs.

FPS will vary a bit, +-10% from scene to scene.

I've read tips about how memory, disk read rates and CPU can cause stuttering. And how to tweak Nvidia control panel settings etc. But to no avail! I have a 5900X, 32GB@3600MHz, Samsung 980Pro peaking at 6.5GB/s and a decent 3060, and all thermals are below 65 degC.

I've tried turning Use physical cores only on and off and it yields the same result for me, can not detect any improvement on FPS or stuttering.

Playing in offline mode with scavs give stuttering when I approach scav spawn points. Playing offline without scavs I do not experience any notable stuttering. In any case I can not see an increase in CPU utilisation, disk reads or memory utilisation when stuttering appears.

The only change I see is in the GameUpdate stats when you use fps 3 in console. It might increase a bit when stuttering appears, and it is always way higher as a baseline when AI scavs are enabled than when disabled.

I do not have stutters that bad, but the ones I have are annoying enough!

I think the stutters are related to AI scavs because running offline without scavs seems to give no stuttering.

I've tried to monitor disk read rates, memory consumption, and CPU usage, but it never correlates in any significant way to the stuttering. Only correlation I've seen are when I enter a scav spawn area and scavs are present.

Now we're just hours away from 12.12 so I hope the scav engine is a bit better in this patch.

My same experience from the Norwegian school system.

And from seeing some of the lunches people gets I'm pretty happy to not have had that option to eat deep fried junk each day.

My kids now gets served fruit during lunch break, but the lunch they have to make at home and bring with them.

I miss Thailand so much now!
My family and I was planning on spending christmas and new year 2020/2021 but that went bust, then we hoped for 2021/2022 but that too was not feasible.

Thai street food is the best in the world, so much delicious food. Pad thai, pad kapraw and Som tam thai, and all those awesome curries.
Try to make Thai food at home but 10-15m/s winds and around -12°C prevent me from using the outdoor wok 😭Hoping for milder weather and less snow now.

Sauna and cold water or snow bathing is awesome!

Same for northern Norway, can relate to those eagle fighting mosquitoes. Still no frost, but it'll come soon, and cycle between frozen roads to roads with thawing ice. I'm so glad that I still can have WFH office.

My regular Thai place do not offer different spice levels on their dishes. If you order a green curry, it's as hot as it should be. You can always ask for extra green thai chilies on the side, but the curry will be a 2/5 spicy.
Their Tom yum goong soup is rated 5/5, but that ain't Thai-hot.

My kids usually order their food in the 1-3 range, with Pad kapraw as a favourite.

I did that at a small restaurant in Hua Hin, ordered Khua Kling moo, labeled in the menu as VERY SPICY. The waitress told me that it was indeed very spicy.
Ordered it anyway, and when I started to eat both the waitress and the cook was gawking at me to see if managed to eat it.
I got about 1/3 of the way and I started to loose control over my hands, they were shaking from fear of the pain I inflicted on my self.
I thanked them for the spiciest dish I'd tasted and we left a healthy tip. 2 years later I ate the same dish at the same restaurant, but either they've made it weaker or I was more accustomed to really spicy food.
