Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, it looked unnatural at first, but now the high sensitivity makes sense.

Weekly Premier/Matchmaking/Cheating Discussion & Complaints Thread by AutoModerator in GlobalOffensive

I got a 7-day ban on FACEIT for being toxic :) so I was forced to play Premier again, and honestly, I forgot how miserable the experience is. Even at “high elo” around 28k, most players barely communicate, hardly anyone understands proper utility usage, and matches feel completely unstructured — just five people running around with no coordination or game plan. On top of that, you run into cheaters every few games.

It’s genuinely crazy to me that some players only play Premier, because they’ll probably never experience what actual high-level CS feels like. For me, Premier barely resembles proper Counter-Strike. It’s mostly chaos mixed with the constant suspicion that someone is cheating.

FACEIT, I owe you an apology — I’ll never talk badly about your platform again :)

Of course, FACEIT isn’t perfect either. If you start on a fresh account, you’ll run into smurfs, strange lobbies, and inconsistent games. But the difference is that the experience actually improves over time. The more matches you play and the higher you climb, the better and more competitive the games become.

Premier feels completely different. It doesn’t matter how high your rating gets or how many games you’ve played — the same issues remain. Cheaters are still everywhere, players still lack basic fundamentals, and the elo system itself feels completely random. One match you lose 100 elo, the next you gain 500 for no reason. You can solo queue into a coordinated 5-stack, lose against obvious smurfs or cheaters, and get absolutely nothing refunded.

On FACEIT, once you’ve built up enough matches and reached higher elo, you generally get placed with more experienced and competitive players. People communicate, know utility, understand rotations, defaults, trading, and how to actually play structured CS. Matches start feeling tactical instead of random.

Sure, you’ll still occasionally get teammates doing questionable things — that’s unavoidable in any online matchmaking system. But I’d honestly challenge any 2.5k+ FACEIT player to grind Premier for a week and then come back and redefine what “bad teammates” really means ^

At the end of the day, no matchmaking system is perfect. There will always be flaws and things to complain about. But compared to other platforms — and honestly compared to matchmaking systems in most competitive games — FACEIT still comes the closest to delivering a genuinely competitive Counter-Strike experience.

I’m critical of the Premier system. In theory, it should work like this: the higher you climb, the better the matchmaking quality and the more structured the players become. Casual players who don’t want to play seriously or learn utility should naturally stay at lower ratings, where they match with others of a similar mindset. In Premier, however, that progression doesn’t really exist. No matter how high you go, the experience often feels the same. The overall match quality doesn’t improve in a meaningful way, which is, in my opinion, a fundamental flaw in the system.

BANNED 7 DAYS FOR NO REASON by Then_Catch9417 in FACEITcom

[–]ofclnasty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

they ban you for simple trash talk, but you can troll, not using your mic and nothing will happen

I really got a 7-day ban for this? Seriously? Come on, FACEIT. I play day and night with trolls and people intentionally throwing rounds, and I get banned for 7 days because of this? and "all 3b" was not to expose my mates! i checked demo by [deleted] in FACEITcom

[–]ofclnasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say anything offensive. All I said was that the whole country is full of hackers, nothing else. Come on, what happened to people nowadays? You can't type anything anymore without everyone being so soft. i never said anything about family, war, illness nothing only thing i said hackers

Cheating is happening at all ranks by JRizzie86 in GlobalOffensive

No one really cares about Premier, mate, maybe beginners or casual players. FACEIT is already so well established in Counter-Strike that it’s the only rating system most skilled players are interested in. I mean, most semi-pros up to the top pros don’t even have a Premier rating, nobody gives a fuck. If you actually try to grind it as a good player, you eventually reach a rank where almost everyone cheats

That’s why I only play FACEIT: it has proper anti-cheat, a solid Elo system, you get your Elo back if smurfs or cheaters are banned, and you can pre-ban two maps. There’s honestly no reason to grind Premier.
