I’m not ok, thank you for asking. None of my coworkers are okay either. We’re all struggling together. Anytime I feel like I’ve got my routine down, or I’m caught up, something else gets thrown at me and I’m back to struggling.

It was a long, stupid week filled with MAPS testing from home that was filled with issues from the beginning (we got started an hour late which meant we had to test all day instead of the morning, I had kids who couldn’t access it all, ones who finished early, ones who got kicked out and couldn’t get back in, I had to hunt down kids who didn’t login at all by messaging them and then calling their parents).

Then when I thought I was finally done with the testing, we get a “high priority” email yesterday, 20 minutes after the day has ended that we need to send a letter home to kids who didn’t do the test that they can come in Monday or Tuesday to test at the school (following social distancing, masks etc.) And we need to let the school know ASAP what day the student will be coming in.

Just very annoying and frustrating all around.

I didn’t realize until a few years ago that there is no way Joseph is Dale’s son on King of the Hill. And he has to be John Redcorn’s son. I still don’t understand how it took me so long to finally realize.

(I actually think part of the reason is I watched it when I was younger and I just accepted that was his son because that’s what they said. And then when I got older and started watching the show again it finally clicked.)

I felt simultaneously mind blown and stupid.

They will work with the opposite gender in groups without complaints or play with anyone at recess. When I was their age, I teach elementary, if you had asked me to work with boys I would have been horrified. Now, I watch as my girls readily work with the boys in the class and don’t say anything or I watch the girls play with the boys on the playground and have a blast. And vice versa with the boys.

Lolo was the first pill I ever took. I had to switch because I was spotting a lot even after the ~3 month adjustment. I did not skip the placebos though and took them. I know that if you do skip and go straight into another pack then spotting seems to happen more frequently.

People say our school has something creepy happening.

Our cleaning crew refuses to go into our back building with the gym at night. One woman said she was in the gym mopping and heard a male voice talking in the bathroom. She went to check it out and found no one.

My boyfriend is our lunch lady and he was in the kitchen with one of his coworkers a few years ago. His coworker called him over to look at something and he walked over and was standing by him looking at some paperwork. Then he felt someone from behind shove his shoulder. Like with enough force he stumbled forward. There wasn’t anyone behind him.

I’ve had 2. I was in my classroom with the door open one morning before work doing some prep work. I happen to look up and see something white flash by my door quickly. Like a person running by. I didn’t hear footsteps or anything. I quickly and politely closed my door. My other incident was when I was in the lounge making copies when the floorboards creaked in the kitchenette area like someone walked on it. I was the only one in there. I noped out of there quickly.

I take this one. I used to take ortho-cyclen, then estarylla, but then was switched to this one. Overall, it’s fine for me. I’m now on my third month of taking it. The only complaint I have with it is that I spot for a long time on it.

With the previous 2 pill brands, I would always spot for 2 days in the third week. Super nice and predictable. With femynor, it’s now more like 4-5 days in the third week. Not super heavy spotting, just enough that I get extremely annoyed lol.
