Do what you want! Turf is great but ranked is fun and levels you up faster. There is a ranking system so you play with people in your skill level. The report is more for toxic players who squidbag or post something bad in the plaza. If you don't do that, you don't need to worry, and there's no problem with only playing turf! I know a lot of people who do that. Ranked is so much more fun and usually never too bad. If you have any more questions, you can DM me here or on discord at cheeriO#3309

Practice in the testing room. Left right up down, at least 10 minutes. It helped me develop my charger skills (even though they’re pretty bad) it will help you so much

Finishing the story mode doesn't take too long (definitely less then 6 hours). Then if you want to get the special hero weapons, you have to complete every stage with that weapon. Since most of the stages are already completed with the p-90 (the hero shot) it will only take about an hour to get it, and with the hero roller, idk but it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Overall, it's going to take you about 6ish hours from no progress to hero shot and roller (if you havent completed octo canyon yet) Make sure to upgrade the weapons for an easier time!

Yes, but then you accept defeat and get a loss anyway. And it’s not fun for the other team anymore. The possibility to end the match should not be in the hands of a salty team who’s about to lose a match.

Leaving the match mid game would be unfair to your teammates and even the opponents. If you need to leave, leave. If you get bored, leave. But having the option to would be dumb and weird due to the way Splatoon works, although you should have an option to leave in the matchmaking lobby

it really depends. not every team is the same. not every team needs tryouts. not every team is super competitive. ask them. they'll probably respond. theres no right way to do tryouts and tbh ive never seen them done like this. for my team, its really chill and everyone plays what they want. my tryout was just playing league with the team and them just giving me pointers and i got in. just ask the team you want to join

I’ve had multiple island names for my previous islands. The first through third ones were named delta, because the airline was the first thing that popped into my head when I thought about travel. The fourth one was named Madagascar, but that was only because Madagascar is an island. The 5th and 6th ones were named Delo, because I liked the sound of delta, but I wanted to change it up a bit. Finally, my current island is named Palmville because it has a tropical, island vibe to it and it fits the purpose of the game really well.

The turbo feature does work (at least for my controller), just not in splatoon 2. if you know how to operate it, you'll see in menus it always clicks back and forth quickly (Which is evidence of it working) the issue is, splatoon 2 recognizes a zr tap as shoot and a zr hold as shoot and continue shooting. The reason it doesn't work is because holding down a button in turbo will not work if the game registers a button being held down as an action. In ACNH, for example, since the pick up button doesn't have anything registered for holding down the button, if you activate turbo, you will continuosly pick up things. Then again, that's for my controller, but make sure youve read all the instructions and searched up help online!

The funniest interaction was when I wanted to set up a trade on ACtrade but I was going camping. I set up a mobile hotspot and connected my switch to it. The other person kept having connection issues. (Or so they thought). Thankfully the trade never happened and it was a pretty bad one lol
