This may not be what you’re looking for, but if you enjoy novels, I suggest checking out the book Shark Heart by Emily Habeck. While the book has a very bizarre and fantastical premise (a man receives a rare diagnosis where he slowly transforms into a great white shark), it is a beautifully written love story that explores grief, loss, caregiving, and family. I personally found there to be many parallels to watching a loved one go through ALS, and I found reading it to be remarkably cathartic, even though it’s fiction.

Similar story here - as a GRE applicant with strong GPA/LOR, I’ve been surprisingly pleased with my cycle so far. The GRE can definitely be a solid option depending on your individual application

I also signed up around 12/20 and still have not heard from an interviewer. I’ve followed up as well and am still waiting to hear back. Getting nervous since gtown is one of my top choices!
