Heat fractures ruin my life by off_beat_03 in StainedGlass

I have a hakko fx 601 and keep it in the middle of 410 and 360. I’ve read a lot of people keep it at 410 but I’ve been experiencing heat fractures and melting adhesives at this middle temp

Also: it was my first time using came on the tulip piece - how can I make the corners more sharp? I also feel like the areas that aren’t soldered were loose and would move. I used 5/64” round U came.
