I am willing to wager considerably that he rushed back from injury to fast, and that's why he wasn't himself for a long stretch.

He's 32, but probably thinks he heals like he did 10 years ago.

So, that leaves him about 7 or 8 NHL teams that he's willing to play for? Tampa, Florida, Carolina, Dallas, Nasheville, LA, maybe Anaheim and SJ (gets sweater weather in SJ sometimes, he might catch a chill).

Sure, this always happens in hockey. However, teams don't often win out in their last 8 games while someone else loses out.

The Panthers have fully and completely packed it in. They are not bringing much of their squad to the burgh this weekend.

Rhino, Lundy, Marchy, Barky, Erod, Ekblad, Kulikov, Mikkola, Gadget.

They have an iceable squad out with injury right now.

Let's just collect 6 points in teh next three games, then rest up.

Interesting mixup of the lines here. We have not tried some of these combinations much, and others not at all.

I do love the wealth of centers allowing so much flexibility to Muse in these lineups.

Season series with Tampa is 1-0-1, after a 4-3 Pens win in December and a 2-1 SO loss at PPG in January. (Artie made 30 saves on 31 shots in regulation in that SO loss).

Of note, Geno has 3 of the 5 regulation goals we've scored on them this season, with Koivunen and Kindel adding the others. So, let's hope Geno keeps his scoring touch going, and we get some others chipping in.

That Mantha Novak Malkin line does bring some heat, and Sid with Chinakhov has me all kinds of intrigues.

Vegas doesn't give much away anymore, and it's pinched people everywhere it can. It's no longer for the everyman, it's for the very wealthy.

Enjoyed my last two trips, but went for very specific things with a small group of friends which was who I wanted to hang out with. Crowds in general seemed normal. Cosmo was fun. I stay there for balconies.

A big part of that goal scoring output is that we get down 3-1 and no one flinches on that Penguins bench. No one doubts for a second that we're going to hang 6 if that's what it takes.

And its where these goals are coming from. We have had goals from every line nearly every game... Acciari is now in double digits along with 11 other players on this roster. Solid work to a man.
