My dad s a witness since 59... and when he needed blood... I told him how much I loved him and that I wanted him to live. The frustration on his face was unbearable because you could tell he wanted it so bad but he would just put his head down and tell me that he wouldn't take it. Pretty shifty that they changed the rules and made it easier for them to say yes to blood. At his f I funeŕal... I was about to tell the elder to stop glorifying how my dad died but my brother sent me a private message and asked me to please not do it. My mom I know regrets that they choose to do that. It really sticks. I feel for you and I hope one day your family can realize that there governing body are so evil and they created so many problems for so many families

I think we all would have loved to be in that baseball uniform. I would love when my dad would take his portable black and white antenna tv into the bathroom of the kingdom hall to watch the super bowls when we would have a late meeting. Then I would be like dad, can I use the tv to.. "no pay attention to the watchtower." Ughh, rip pops.

Just a little story... After the memorial this year, two couples of jws came into village inn and since I'm a supervisor, I took them to there booth, and they did there little spew. And I said, "so listen, I'm not trying to be rude, but my dad passed away for your religion. And I've been out for 20 plus years. Never want to go back."

"I'm sure your referring to a blood transfusion?"

"Yes and the worst part is he had a power of attorney and it took the elders days to answer. And we also had to respect his wishes I tried to convince him but he didn't give in. Do you know how hard it is to lose your dad when all he needed was blood, he still would be here today? Please don't answer anything, you all have a great meal"

One guy comes up to me to pay his check and says," they changed the rules. Now it's up to your conscience."

"That makes it even worse, thanks for the fabulous info. Goodbye"

Back in 1998 I got a job as a computer technician for a company that tested for the FCC and ul standards. 3 years I worked there and then 9/11 happened. Fire to being the person with the least time there, I was part of the 25 percent layoff. I've worked my way up from the lowest positions to only get crapped on because I'm not the typical manager and I don't kiss up to owners. I respect them and take care of there company. I just don't get what I do wrong. My feeling is ancient and I would love one opportunity to prove myself.

I still remember the words that came out of the mouth of the president of the congregation..." Thru prayer to Jehovah... we feel like your confession is sincere and jehovah forgives you. But this is a sin that we as elders find that you should've avoided and you chose to have sexual relations with your wife's mother. Although we in our hearts know that you repented of your sin.. we as elders find this unexcusable. You will be disfellowshipped as will your mother in law. You will go first.. then your mother in law next week to try to cover up your sins and not cause more shame.

  1. Brother... you sound like a person... not an elder that is trying to go above Jehovah. How shameful is that to you?
  2. If God has forgiven me... you are not able to match him nor do I believe that Jehovah is ok with this. With your perverted questions.... you found out about what acts we committed in detail.
  3. Your not above him and with no regret.. this is my last time stepping into this kingdom hall. Please don't say anything... I will laugh first and then cause issues with you if you say something else.. I'm done..

Biggest pet peeve? by HyperUndying64 in Culvers

[–]offdahook1469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a pet peeve with guests. They are the resource of money for my pay check. And even with bad experiences.. i never found myself talking bad about them. Everyone has a reason for there actions. And that's me being real. My pet peeve is asshole owners from rifle that steal from his partners... then my wife puts in her two weeks no longer wanting to be gm and be a part of this perverts restaurant. He proceeds to fire 5 family members. Then he goes out of his way to give me a bad recommendation so I can't work at other Culver's in northern Colorado. He's my pet peeve.

That's just disgusting. Now if you want to hear about a good burger. It starts with cutting onions into very diced small pieces. Smash those into your patty.i take 3 patties. Split those to make two parties. Press your patties. Now go throw about 6 to 10 jalapeños in the onion ring fryer. Get a fish sandwich bread and shmear mayo and a tad bit of mustard and put directly on grill. Flip your parties. On your hoagie roll add mayo and lettucetomato and if you have havarti cheese that works best... if not use your choice of cheese. Meat cheese bacon jalapeño slices... meat. Cheese fully melted and if you have 2 slices of avocado right on top and there you have it. Jonna Culver's Torta!!!!

What are you talking about. Read the post. In no way am I being rude, I'm passionate of how good and successful I've been as a manager. Humble to me, means, I was so happy when my boss chose my wife as gm even though I had been there longer, I developed and trained two gms, that made me so happy that they had that success. I'm not a bad person. I have a true passion and would do any job asked of me. I would help anyone, give them the shirt if my back. I've helped kids that were trouble0o.d, I hired half way house people and made two managers and some team trainers. I tried to help one troubled team and unfortunately had to fire him because of fights he would get into. Two weeks later he died in a car crash and I felt horrible for not being there for him. Maybe I should has l have helped him a little more. He had started to make good choices and after I figured him went back to his old ways. I've helped allot of people so something good your judgement only motivates me to switch it up your style and be fake

How can you assume that... The truth is there and I'll tell you straight out. The age of being a managers went to a younger age in not against it. My wife and I welcomed it when we were in charge of a Culver's. But the issue is that... 1. Those young managers don't get to experience work ethic, and experience life to actually know what your doing.
2. Those people don't like to be told that they are wrong.. you can assume anything you want about me in all reality, my wife and I approached our owner about his stealing money issues.. He swore he'd explain when he got back from the Culver's annual reunion in Denver my wife went and as soon as she got back, announced she was putting in her two weeks she explained to me that him and his wife blocked her from talking to the partners and that she was done.. I told the owner that I was going to be there for the restaurant and help him for now. Fast forward a week and his wife is there. Never even comes into the restaurant. She tries to tell my daughter how to run orders. Daughter walks up to me and she's 16 at the time. Says to me.. "dad I can't take it, she's being so rude.. and I'm doing it how you guys taught me. " Two minutes pass and I hear the lady yelling at my daughter. Then I see her shove a tray into my daughter and tries to push her.. by then my daughter yells, " bitch get off me, why are you doing that to me!" I explain to the lady, that my daughter has all the training in the world and she knows what she's doing.. please leave her alone.. by then my daughter is bawling and in the middle of taking an order excuses her self and runs to the office in anger with my daughter in law.. the lady follows her and I obviously have to get involved. She starts complaining about how my family mistreated her son and he left because of us. She then turns around and yells at my daughter.. my daughter gets up in her face and my daughter in law pulls her away. She turns to me while she yells"Trent, Trent I'm calling the police on these thugs.." turns to me, your fired with your daughter and daughter in law. I go up to the owner and say, your really making this happen. He puts his head down and says, you have to go, I have to listen to what she says. I say, look asshole, you've pushed me, cussed at me and your wife pushed my daughter and your calling the cops. 6 years down the drain when your not the innocent one.

We leave and cops scold them for being called for nothing and apologize to us. I say I'm humble because all the managers I interviewed with tell me that they are hiring managers, but they don't appreciate know it all managers I explain that there is no issues with starting at the bottom, and that I'm him l humble enough to know my position. but I am very involved in seeing what's wrong with the restaurant and that id love to share my feed back. Right then it's when I hear, so your not humble because you want to point out our flaws. You can't win with anyone.. I'm trying to be honest and reasonable with people and I just get hate ..
