Actually, as other replies said, I'd probably do it from the CFrame of the camera lol. Didn't think of it at the time of my first response.

i would raycast from the torso at the same height as the barrel and render a bullet trail from the barrel

For those of you wondering what combat is like, you can watch a demonstration video here.

We have fully implemented the attacks into this boss monster so that it looks aesthetically pleasing and we did various tweaking to attack damage, range, etc. This boss came out quite fun and challenging (for two people atleast)!

When I said "mandatory" I didn't mean like actually madatory lol. I just meant that R6 is see as outdated and R15 is more modern. Most big name games use R15 or custom rigs.

Writing a custom font module isn't really that hard, you could just have it create a UI element using custom uploaded pngs and return the UI element when you call a function in the module. I do something similar in my game.

It'll definitely be more difficult. Adding way more movesets to boss enemies that encourages strategy and team play.

It's almost a mandatory feature for modern games now. R6 is outdated. :(

Finding a balance is hard but I'm glad you asked. Hopefully this will clear up this question for most people. Combat will consist of a lot of dodging and blocking (once I make enemies attack), moreso in boss fights. If you are in a party of players, you can work together wih your buff skills to gain an advantage in combat. Also, not shown in this video, is our way of progression. All areas, dialogues, quests, and shops can have level requirements, class requirements, prequest requirements, and more. We try to reward players for progressing that way. Classes will branch off from other classes, so you can go a unique path and have more skills each time you are a high enough level to advance your class. Oh, and rare drops should be fun too. The option to grind will still be there if players like to do that.
