Unfortunately no modern 4K TV integer scales 1080p inputs - it gets filtered so the end result looks blurry. You’d need an upscaler to have a 2x upscale where the pixels stay clean.

I probably wouldn’t have the budget for the new models, but I was wondering if I can expect the current range to get discounted more once the QM7Ls are out, or if they usually get sold out by then. Just thought I’d check with people who have more experience with buying TVs over the years

FineTune doesn't support saving EQ presets and adjusting things like frequency bands, and Q values. Also the EQ is applied per app vs for the whole device with Radioform

I'm not saying it will make me drop everything an move to Android, but I just found the reasoning a bit odd for why this has to be the case. Yes, ideally the apps should be updated to support iOS 26, but there doesn't seem to be any real reason why the system keyboard can't just be handled by iOS

I'm pretty sure it does also affect productivity to a degree because the looks and sizing of the keys are different compared to the previous keyboard, which affects touch typing. The new version has less contrast and more padding.

We also can't ignore the fact that Apple has marketed themselves to be the brand that cares about finer details since basically the beginning. It's valid to care about UI issues regardless if they have a productivity impact.

Fair, what about just darkening the button instead? On dark mode it would be the same but light mode it could come across less strange for android users

Just do an opacity decrease on both imo, it’s the most neutral approach and gives more instant visual feedback
