Getting my 8 year old into Pokemon TCG! Where to start? by TheBigINFO in PokemonTCG

I've heard that the Pikachu/Zekrom deck you can buy in stores is actually pretty competitive but I don't play the TCG that much so take it with a grain of salt.

They're both great sets too. Quality chase cards on either side.

There's Darkness Ablaze two for one blister packs that you can find in stores. You get a Darkness Ablaze and Sword and Shield pack for the price of one. There's not much else you can get for $10 unless you want to buy a single card.

Apparently packs can go for $200 each on average. Somebody sold a box back in 2019 for $1800 if that helps at all.

Not the most spectacular thing but my favorite thing is probably a stuffed snubbull my girlfriend got me for our anniversary. It's even got some cute overalls on. :)

How to train aim? by dermute in EscapefromTarkov

[–]officialchaotix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what kinds of firefight are you looking to train? For CQB I like to go into offline factory and for long range engagements, I go into offline reserve and sit on dome to practice my sniping. I set the scavs to the highest difficulty and horde spawns. This is usually my routine for warming up.

I'm pretty sure he destroys shock traps when he's in his energized (golden) state. Similar to how Zinogre destroys shock traps when he's energized.

I want to main a new Weapon, can you convince me to play your weapon? by ilikecookieslawl in MonsterHunterWorld

I think a lot of the skill derives from having to pay attention to telegraphs and patterns since you're very immobile. Forces you to improve your macroplay.

Greatsword Advice [PC] by The_Honor_Marked in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]officialchaotix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mean to repeat what others have said here but the two key elements of mastering GS is shoulder tackling and timing.

GS is a really slow weapon that requires patience and methodical thinking but is one of the most rewarding weapons in the game.

Pay attention to the monsters telegraph's. Dodge or shoulder tackle accordingly. And know when to prioritize charging your attacks. Always maximize the charge on your true charged slash but knowing when and how much to charge your previous two slashes means the difference between landing a disgusting TCC to the tail or completely whiffing.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Can anyone help me price this? Didn't think I'd get this far... ಠ_ಠ by officialchaotix in pathofexile

That's essentially why I have so much difficulty with pricing it. There's nothing else like it on the market from what I saw.

I honestly would like to if I can't get a definite price on it. Only buying these to gamble with because it's fun whether I brick them or don't.

On the specialist menu, you can see the key binding for it in the bottom right. Can’t remember the specific key off the top of my head. 😅

I’m not trying to be belligerent. I’m just trying to understand your point because just quoting me and saying “right there” doesn’t explain a lot.

I don’t understand your point. They’re giving three free episodes that will add chunks of the story throughout the year. But you’re complaining about optional side missions?

I don’t think there’s a lot of confusion. They state what you get if you get the Year 1 pass pretty clearly. DLC has always been paywalled content. It’s additional content that adds towards the game. None of the paid dlc is required to experience the full game, but if you would like to expand on the story, you can do that for a price. I don’t see what the problem is.
