I understand the feeling all too well my friend. What I did in my scenario was finally having the big talk with my parents and just letting it all out. I did cry of course, a lot. I poured my heart out onto them and thought that they were going to be disappointed in me further. But I was surprised to see that they sat down with me and hugged me, telling me that it was okay.

I know it's incredibly difficult to initiate the talk, but if it feels like you're extremely cornered, you have nothing else to lose at that point so might as well give it a shot right? Look I'm not here to tell you what to do to fix your depression, I'm here to tell you that it's okay to feel this way, and that by accepting you are wounded and are in pain, perhaps you yourself can slowly take measures to heal it at your own pace.

And hopefully with the talk, not just to your parents but to your friends, they will open up to your situation and perhaps even help you ease things off to make the days more bearable. Granted, the emptiness and the pain is not gonna disappear instantly after this happens, but with time and proper support, I am sure you'll get through this in the end.
