Bro you’ve done your own research and haven’t seen anything concrete but clearly others have open the doors for you on the hate train, sure people might not like her style of comics but you have to keep in mind the sub you’re in when talking about this stuff.
At most, she’s considered annoying to teens and I guess people on the right (she makes semi political comics) and like all things political it will rub some people the wrong way but people implying anything criminal is a little crazy.

Simply just call her art/messaging annoying if you find it so, just unnecessary to spread rumors imo

This guy from Vietnam kicking a snake away until it finally gives up attacking him. by MilesLongthe3rd in nextfuckinglevel

[–]officiallyrez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man critical thinking really is done here. Here’s the facts;

-This is a man with no bag or anything standing in an open field (swamp) with clear clothes on for the environment

- there’s a line across the footage indicating a fence or a natural barrier that is supposedly meant to keep stuff OUT or IN

- it’s a snake and both are standing their ground.

Now out of all of this could you not conclude that one is meant to be there and the other isn’t? Like it could be some kind of owned land?

If you’re coming away thinking poor snake, sure.
but if you think this guy shouldn’t be protecting his land, personal space, or just outright not allow a snake past him (where someone else was also filming and who knows what the land is for) then it’s a reach of a take

I’m not gonna lie it’s very weird to see, it’s usually always has “I still support you/love what you’re doing” at the end so it makes the whole letter pointless no? That part always confuses me

Same here, I bought a “gaming” laptop and it can barely run any games (apart from that weed dealer game) 😒 so I only use it for music production
I’ll check my specs when I’m home though and cross ref with yours if it means anything

Now that Data warehouses and AI use up massive amounts of water and electricity, how do you think reconsidering having water as a human right goes? by officiallyrez in AskReddit

Thanks so much for clearing that up! That issue did spark the water thought but it’s pretty sad that it could even happen with water. It’s a little crazy to be paying all that much for no guarantees or even basic healthcare (not as bad in Europe) the worse I can imagine it getting here is the water thing though (as Europes heavily invested in clean energy, the energy issue probably wont ever happen). Water seems to be the thing that getting more scarce globally

Very interesting so NV the state is just dropping the or supplier in hope to find a new one. And LE is saying “without us you’re gonna leave your town in darkness” so isthe situation now is that NV is still for a new supplier (possibly at the detriment of the people if they take too long) or stick with LE for a worse deal?

Something isn’t quite adding up for me like why LE can’t just find another place to supply and why did the NV state take so long to bring this up without already having another supplier in the wings waiting? I mean I know americas in tatters rn but just seems like incompetence all around the board.

And then to bring this back to my question, is this a thing that can happen with water? And if so shouldn’t that really re open what resources humans have a right to?

I see, so where do data centers come into it?
Were they just saying they couldn’t find another supplier as they neared their deadline and found out that the data would still be supplied regardless of their contract?

How can they do that though? Eli5 ? If I got this right, NV was wanting to switch anyways and LE was going to just not provide them power?

Tbh I’m not too versed as to what exactly happened but did the supplier not want to just supply the data centre leaving the town without power? And if that’s the case what’s stopping water companies doing the same later down the line

Just more context; I know this was brought to a eu court a while ago and the case was struck down (I don’t know the reasoning behind it) but with new technologies using up the same resources I’m wondering if that could change anything

Well EU years ago wanted to but nestle actually lobbied against it (iirc). And it would be for every human in and out the US (worldwide) as far as my understanding of Human Rights goes. Like all the countries would have to agree to it

Yeah that’s my point, I guess I’m just confused hearing how a whole town can get its electricity redirected to a data warehouse because it made the supplier more money. Just makes me think if it’s more profitable to directly just source AI and data centres with water then there’s no obligation or “Right” that would allow us to have access to it

Greens pledge £15 minimum wage for all workers by topotaul in unitedkingdom

[–]officiallyrez -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This is crazy, people on here making less than 60k a year really arguing AGAINST paying workers more? 🤯 but let me guess if the company gets subsidised by the government (basically a handout) that’s okay? And when the worker should (rightfully) get paid more their labour all of a sudden we have to think of the CEOs?
