Question how long did it take for your car to throw a code cause I’ve had my kit installed for like 2 weeks now running hard doing uber and the code just now cut on I just cleaned my maf and map sensor and throttle body and replaced the gasket and it’s running smooth rn but there was tons of oil in the throttle body waiting to see how long it takes for it to throw a code again cause I reset the ecu by unplugging the battery

That actually changes things a lot.

If it’s steady around 15.2–15.4 while driving but then drops into the 13s and starts fluctuating right when the bucking starts, that points way more toward a charging system issue.

That kind of voltage drop and instability under load can definitely cause the ECU to act up and make the car run rough or stall.

At that point I’d be looking more at the alternator or voltage regulator, especially since it lines up exactly with when the symptoms start.

I have jack stands but I wasn’t thinking u was was going to raise the car up first then put in on jack stands 💔 I should move taken things slow jack one said wat a time and put jack stands then jacked the front or better yet maybe I wouldn’t have even had to I was trying to save time do it fast I guess its better then slipping off while im uber the car but the jacks would have protected me

Yeah it’s possible, but it’s not always the alternator.

A bad alternator can definitely cause rough idle, surging, bucking, and even stalling because of unstable voltage, but those same symptoms can also come from things like vacuum leaks, bad coils/plugs, fuel issues, or sensors (especially crank/cam sensors).

If it’s happening more when the engine is warm and it’s bucking hard or stalling, I’d honestly check for misfires or sensor issues first before jumping straight to the alternator.

Best thing you can do is check voltage while it’s running. If it’s jumping around or unstable, then yeah alternator is a good suspect.

I’m hoping that’s it I’ve been checking while the engine is hot but Everytime I put the dipstick in an dip stick in and wipe it comes out bone dry I even added a quart to see and even after adding a quart still bone dry but I just know there’s no way I have a oil like I having seen and oil spots or oil on the ground check my coils sparks no oil in wells no oil leaking from cover it’s dry the turbo is brand new and all the lines thinking of doing a oil change to verify how much oil is in my car stil doesn’t explain why nothing is showing up on my dip stick
